Derp and the

We woke up pretty early this morning and Jeric thought we should take Derp to a dog park. I was definitely up for that, seems like it would quite an experience.

Anyhow, we found one nearby, in Fullerton (seriously not far from Costco).

At first, we totally planned on bringing him to the small dog area (they only have small and large). But when we got there, the notice on the gate stated that only dogs under 25 pounds and 15 inches in height can enter. Yikes. Yah, Derp's like 40+ pounds. Hahahaha!

So, we ventured into the big dog area. We were a little bit anxious because we weren't sure how the dogs behaved. There were a few dogs we were on extra lookout for, boxers, pit bulls, and dobermans. But luckily, neither of them were vicious or overly aggressive. Phew. The big dogs did play rough with each other, but that's what they do. As long as none of them try to trample on Derp (which none of them did, thankfully).

Derp had plenty of fun. There was just so much for him to take in. Tons of dogs for him to chase (yes, he totally chased after big dogs. hahaha). So much open space for him to run around in too. There were also community toys, which he played with only for a very short time. He was totally out of breath at times and when Jeric tried feeding him water, he didn't want any. Probably because he didn't want to drink out of the community bowls. Hahaha.

Anyhow, his playtime definitely wore him out! But he totally enjoyed every bit of it! Cute!

The rest of the day was spent doing chores. Giving Derp a bath, cleaning up our room, and laundry!

Jeric also had band practice! YEY! Hopefully they start getting back into the swing of things.
