Hunting for Pint Glasses

I got a pint glass the other day, from Downey mall. The free one from Sanrio. And, well, I really wanted another pint glass, just so we can have a set of 2. So, after work, I called Downey to see if it was possible that they had any left. I already set myself up to having them say they were completely sold out. But to my surprise they had a few left still! So, I dragged Jeric along and we got 2 cups! Which made 3 in all. Hmm, odd number still. Oh well.

Later on in the evening, we had stuff to do in Upland and thought, hmmm, maybe Ontario Mills? And when we called, the girl said they had 10 left! Crazy! So we went! We had 2 on hold for us, which would make 5. Hmmm, again, odd number I thought. I decided, it was worth it asking for a 3rd cup, which meant, we would have a freaking set of 6! How crazy!

So, we went in the store and the workers were really nice, especially the cashier that helped us out. I asked her for the third glass, even though there were only 2 of us there. I really wouldn't have minded if she said she couldn't do it. But, instead, she was like, "I'm not sure, I might get in trouble for it. But, okay." LOL! How nice of her! She totally bagged one of the cups all quick too while we were paying so that her co-workers wouldn't see her giving us three cups!

Well, there you have it. A little effort and a really nice cashier. And we have a set of 6!!

BTW, Ontario SOOOO has a better selection for Sanrio stuff. It's a bigger store too.
