The Keurig

We finally found a spot for our coffee maker. Where, you ask? Only in the best spot ever! LOL. We didn't put it in the kitchen because there doesn't seem like there's a spot for it. Soooo, I spent a good part of the day clearing up our room so that we can find a spot. And what's a better spot than on top of the kitchen counter? Why, on top of our dresser of course! Hahaha.

Maybe it's not really a spot for appliances, but hell, it sure as heck is super convenient! Wake-up and hop off the bed and there it is! Coffee! LOL.

After everything was all cleared up, it was Jeric's turn to setup the Keurig! Tada!! Our coffee machine.

Jeric made the first brew, he used green mountain's brew. He actually liked it. I did not. Hahaha. Way too bitter for my taste.

That's when I remembered I had these Nescafe samples! One was caramel and the other was mocha. I decided to brew the caramel one.

So I switched the cup holder from the k-cup thing to the regular brewer. I tossed the Nescafe sample in and brewed my cup. And Ugh! It tasted weird! Hahaha. Like super watered down!

That's when I realized it wasn't regular coffee! All I had to do was dump it into a hot cup of water! Hahaha. Doh! So I opened the cup holder and scooped out all the Nescafe powder and dumped it into my cup.

Now that was tasty! Super delicious! And awesome! There are Nescafe k-cups! Definitely gotta get some of those! Maybe I'll be a coffee drinker after all. Hahaha. A selective one, that is.

Relaxing Easter

We practically ditched both our families for Easter this year. Haha. My parents went to San Juan Capistrano to go to church at one of the missions. When they asked me and my brothers if we wanted to go, me and Chris automatically said no. Brian did say yes, but he ended up not going.

As for the Samoza side, they all celebrated in LA. We didn't really wanna drive all the way there either, plus there's not much to do there. So we said we weren't going there either.

So there you have it. No families for Easter, just us.

Since it was Sunday and we're finally free to go into Disneyland, that's where we decided to spend our Easter! Finally we can go! Haha.'

Our routinely bets were had of course. I had 7 DDD's before the betting began. And I was totally confident I was gonna whoop butt in Toy Story so I bet 20 days! Yah, I totally lost! Horribly too! Ugh! Hahaha.

Afterwards, we went on Tower of Terror. I still get nervous from this ride, but at least I ride it now. I remember last time we had our passes, Jeric could barely convince me to ride it. Hahaha.

I wanted a better picture for the ride, so I tried very hard to pose for the drop. I did scream and could've sworn that the picture snapped while my mouth was gaping wide open, but lucky me! It got my pose! Hahaha.

LOL! Jeric's pose cracks me up!

After Tower of Terror, I just couldn't handle knowing I had 27 DDD's, so I was like, "Buzz Lightyear! Bet! 30 days! Now!" Hahaha. He took the bet and we were off to Disneyland.

I lost, again! HOLY COW! I now have 57 days!?!?! Crap-ME! It was just straight up too, no bonuses. None of the bonus targets lit up! Booo. Still, a loss is a loss. UGHERS!

And that was it. We did get to ride the monorail back at least. :D

For dinner, Jeric made us nutella pancakes! Sooooo YUM! And sooo glad I can eat sweets again!

Desserts at Milk

We took a trip out to LA for some dessert at Milk.

Jeric ordered a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with cookies and cream ice cream. Since I couldn't eat cookies I had to get my own order. I was originally planning on just getting a scoop of ice cream, but Jeric suggested I get a macaron sandwich! They had a red velvet one. So I ordered that.

Jeric offered me some of his ice cream sandwich, but I said no because I can't eat the cookie. And then he was like, "Isn't your macaron sandwich the same?" DOH! Totally right. Hahaha. Too late now. It's too good to stop eating.

The New Coffee Maker

We both woke up pretty dang early today. 9:00 am! That's early for a Saturday without plans. It was another beautiful day outside. And again, we are blocked out of Disneyland! At least we knew this time and didn't head there and get denied. Lol!

So, what to do on a pretty Saturday? Costco! HA! I had a $100 gift cert there and Jeric has been wanting to buy a keurig coffee maker. So we checked out Costco. And instead of eating out at this new cafe I found, we decided to just grab some $1.50 hot dogs & drinks. We each just ate one hot dog each. Then, we went inside and found our coffee maker! Jeric said he will be needing this for his new job. Hahaha. Plus he loves the coffee. He also said maybe I'll love the coffee now too. We shall see.

After grabbing our coffee maker, we made our rounds for some appetizers! Hahaha. We tried just about everything! Yummms.

New Foodie Spot

Jeric got off of work early today since it was his last day. Since he got off work early, I totally wanted to too! So I asked my mom first and of course she gave me a little bit of a hard time. Hahaha. She just doesn't want it to seem like I'm taking advantage because she's my mom. But still, I don't do this all the time, ya know. Aaaaand I also don't have any major tasks due. Not to mention, I'm not using vacay or sick time. I'm just getting off early. Oh well. My mom will always give me a hard time about time off and such. Who would've thought that having my mom as an owner would actually make it that much harder to request time and days off.

Anyhow, she had me ask another owner to see if it was okay. So I did and automatically.. granted! LOL. Soooo much easier than asking my mom. -_-

So, woohoo!! We're off early today. Jeric got off at 12:30 pm and I got off at 1:00 pm. Sooo early!!

Once I met Jeric at home, I just tossed our sheets in the washer (Derp stains.. ugh) and then we were off.

It was such a beautiful day today, so we wanted to go to Disneyland! Plus we haven't been to Disneyland during the daytime in a loooong time. We planned on going to Toon Town for some pictures and to ride Roger Rabit.

We got good parking at DTD and made our way to the monorail. Stood in line, got the bag checked.. and then.. BOIIING! NOOOOOOOOO!! We are freaking BLOCKED OUT! MWahahaha. DOH!! That's freaking two times for me. LOL!

Soooo... what to do what to do? Gahh why oh why Disney!! Perfect weather, perfect time.. yet we're totally denied!

We were pretty hungry, so eating was definitely gonna be part of the plan. We also had a few errands to run, which we were supposed to do AFTER Disneyland. Guess we can do those now. It was a return at Sports Chalet for Jeric and then I had to go to Origins in Brea Mall to get one of their free giveaways for a facial cleanser. I've been looking for a really good one because I've had bad acne for the past year. It totally sucks because I've always had a clear face. Poop!

Well, since we were in Brea, Jeric suggested we try out Pieology. I looked it up on yelp and based on reviews and pictures, we decided to try it out.

It was right by CSUF so the place was known to always be busy. Luckily when we got there it wasn't as packed. But once we started ordering, the line behind us grew! Phew, good timing cause we were starving.

The place has already set menu items as well as the option to build your own pizza. It's very much like Subway or Chipotle style ordering. You go up to the first lady and pick your sauce and cheese, then the pizza's handed off to the next guy for meat, next it's given to another for veggie toppings and then it's finally tossed into the cooker while the cashier grabs our names and rings us up.

Jeric ordered his normal bbq chicken pizza with the addition of sausage. As for me, I can not eat the meats so I go with a build your own veggie pizza. For the sauce I choose butter herb, picked some mozzarella for cheese and then tossed on a bunch of veggies (tomato, bell pepper, cilantro, and mushroom).

We both looove the thin crust. Nice and crunchy. As for the pizzas they were super scrumptious. At least my pizza was to me, as I couldn't try Jeric's! He said it was delicious though. In fact, he said it's better than CPK!

Guess this is our new pizza spot!

Fab Five Fridays

Late post. But here it be. Fab Five Fridays!
1. Our new eating spot with build your own pizzas.. Pieology
2. Been seeing a lot of food posts on blogs I follow, so here's one that I'd like to try, eventually. Baked Espresso Glazed Doughnuts
3. The name alone made me wanna make this. I will try to attempt it this weekend if time permits. Not only is the name funny, but the cake itself is uber cute! And it's perfect for Easter!
4. We finally bought Frankenweenie. I'm excited that we can finally watch it!
5. I've been off of collecting vinylmations and probably don't plan on really getting into it like I was. Yup, the addiction has passed. Hahaha. Mainly because we need to save money and besides, no new series really peaked my interest. So I thought. Apparently they're releasing Beauty and the Beast!! That is a CUTE series! I think I'll definitely pick up a few. We'll see if I feel like I HAVE to get the whole series!

And that's it for Fab Five Fridays! Toodles!

Making Frozen Yogurt Dots At Work

I wanted something cold and delicious while at work, and since Jeric gave me a humungoid bucket of strawberry yogurt (which I took to work), I decided to make frozen yogurt dots!! (Found the idea off of pinterest)

I used foil though since we don't have a baking sheet. I definitely hope that the foil wont get stuck to the dots! Hahaha. That would be so fail, and probably will happen, knowing my luck!

Supplies:
Foil, ziploc bag, scissors, and yogurt

Scoop a bunch of yogurt into the ziploc bag and snip off the corner of the bag.

Pipe the yogurt onto the foil.

Once you're done you should have rows and rows of yogurt dots!

Freeze 'em for at least an hour (pinterest said 30 min, but my dots were still soft, so I did an hour). Then, take 'em out and remove 'em from the foil! (The foil worked without issues). Drop 'em into a bowl and serve immediately! (The dots will melt if you're not careful. Hahaha. A co-worker left hers on the desk and it melted. Whoopsie!)

Our Second and Probably Our Last Lunch Together. BOO!

Jeric forgot his lunch for work today. So he asked if I wanted to have lunch at Panda again. Since we probably wont have lunch like this for awhile because he got a job in Fountain Valley, I said yes. Even if it wasn't our last lunch, I probably would've said yes anyways. Hahaha.

So here we are at Panda again! He ordered a two item combo with a free third item from the phone survey and I got my usual panda bowl with one item. Normally the Panda we go to, the one right across from Buena Park Mall, is super shady with the quantity of food. But today, the server girl totally packed my bowl and Jeric's To-Go container with tons of food! Good stuff!

Jeric ordered orange chicken and sweet fire chicken and got the tangy jumbo shrimp on the side. I had orange chicken.

My 2010 Blog Is Completely Ported!!

I've been working on this project for quite awhile. Probably for about a year? I can't remember when I started. Anyhow, I've worked on porting my blog into a book. All the picture book companies that offer porting your blog just don't look that purty. So I've been using Photoshop to transfer each page out. It was a whole lotta copying and pasting. Definitely tedious stuff. But alas, I am finito!

Just used high res 7x7 pages (since i want a 7x7 book) and saved them as png files. And uploaded them onto Blurb!

My book! All we need to do is order it! Woohoo!

And now.. off to tackling 2011!

Ice Cream and Disneyland.. Can't Get Any Better Than This

After work, we planned on going to Disneyland. And why not grab some Joe's Italian Ice while we're at it! And why not bring the Derpson! :D

He does love the ice cream. And they actually gave us a free cup of the soft serve just for him! They had a bunch of different flavors again. So we tried blue hawaii, strawberry banana, watermelon and peach. We both liked the peach and thought it would go good with mango tango! This time, we also ordered the large because the regular seems soo small. And again, we asked for our soft serve on the side!! :D

Here's daddy feeding Derp..

All of us and the good stuff..

Derpson barking on command for some ice cream!

Derpson high-five'ing for more ice cream.

After dropping Derp off at home, we were off to Disneyland. We hitched a ride on the monorail, but wow, there was an actual line for it! We couldn't get on the first one that came around and barely made it in for the next one! And when we got off in Tomorrowland, the line to get on to head back to DTD was massively long! I can't believe they would wait that long for the monorail instead of walking!! Like seriously, the line went down the long ramp, curled around and went all the way to Finding Nemo's line! And with pick-ups every 10-12 minutes and small seating space, I'm sure people would be waiting for an hour. I mean, yes, some people had to be in that line, like super elder folks that don't have the energy to walk, but what about the young'ns? ya know? Like, dang, are you that lazy? Hahaha.

Anyhow, we played some buzz light year (of course) for 10 DDD's. I was down to 15 (thanks to the Clippers for losing). But ewwww, not one target lit up!! So it was just straight points no bonus! And I lost! I totally lost! Ugh.

Right after, we rode Star Tours to see what kind of ended we'd get! Hahaha. We both don't remember the ending during the first time we rode it though. At least we knew that the ending was different than the last time. :D

And that's all we rode because we were both pretty darn hungry. Hahaha. We were hoping to ride the monorail back, but darn, we have the worst timing for that. LOL. It was closed because of fireworks. ALWAYS!!

Anyhow, we had some Tortilla Jo's for dinner. We shared an order of nachos with carnitas. It seemed like a lot, but we both didn't seem full after we finished. Hahaha. We wanted to have tacos from Taqueria De Anda, but by the time we were driving we both found that we weren't really hungry but not really full either. So we decided to just go home and see what Mom Samoza cooked.

Back to the Gym

Since Jeric landed a new job, that meant our vision insurance was going to go. So we went over to our optometrist to make an order for some new glasses for me! I'm gonna get some transitional lenses so that I have some sunglasses for the summer!

I didn't hit the gym at all last week. My allergies made it practically impossible for me to go. So, it's pretty good to be back at it.

It's back to stairs and the treadmill for our cardio.

And back machines for strength.

I guess I've really been babying my muscles. Because today, I did 25 lbs on machines. I did up the ante before on accident when Jeric left me with 20 lbs. But adding the 5 really really worked me out. I was feeling it after 7 reps and sometimes almost failing. We did three back machines. One was the front lateral pull down. Don't know what the others were, but they worked the back fo sho! Hahaha.

There was one machine too, where I was super struggling to finish my reps. And Jeric started cracking up because of how bad I was struggling! Which of course, made me crack up and completely fail! Hahaha. I tried again, but I was still laughing so I didn't get far. I had to wait awhile and stop laughing. LOL. But eventually, I finished the reps!

Dinneylannn

We were blocked out of Disneyland yesterday, but fear not, there's always today! Haha. We wanted to ride Cars, so we went to California Adventure.

But not without a stop at Joe's Italian Ice first! We were both craving. Hahaha. This time, we kept the bada bing cherry and wanted a new flavor. There was sour blue apple (which I already knew Jeric was gonna hate, but I wanted to try it anyways) and there was strawberry cream, which ended up being our second flavor. We also asked for none of the soft serve in our Joe Latti. Instead, we wanted it on the side! Leaves for more of the ice! Yum!

Once we got into California Adventure we put our name down for the cars line pass and it was going to be about a two hour wait. So we went to Toy Story Mania of course! At this point, Jeric had 12 DDD's. He bet me for 40. I was totally thinking I got this. Like, seriously, when was the last time he beat me? Overconfidence always kills me. Hahaha. I took the bet (dumb move, I know) and I lost! Yuck. Hahaha. I now have 28 DDD's! Poop, literally! Lol.

We had plenty of time to kill before our window opens up to ride cars. So we took the long route around California Adventure and when we were nearing our destination, Jeric said, "Let's ride tower of terror." I was almost about to deny him. Hahaha. I hate the ride. Hate it, but love it. It always always makes me nervous. Hahaha. It's the drops! Oh well, I figured I can do it today. So we went. And in line, I pulled Jeric's hand to where my heart was. Because it was beating so dang fast! Hahahaha. Jeric had me feel his and it was steady as heck. I told you, this ride gets me ALL the time!

There was a little bit of a bummer though. The ride attendant wasn't really in character. Boooooooo! It's more fun when they're in character! Adds to all the creepiness, you know?!

Anyhow, the ride was great ONCE we fell the first time. Hahaha. Leading up to it was the worst! I hate that feeling! But then after it's all done, I'm all in love with the ride! LOL. At least my mouth is not all wide from screaming in the picture!!

Of course, it was gaping wide for cars! Yucko! Hahaha.

And we totally bet on cars too. On whether we'd win the race or the other. Jeric brought the bet up and already picked us as winners. He wanted it for 3 days though. I managed to make it 10 days and then took the bet. Yup, I was betting on us to be losers! Hahaha. We lost. Hence the gaping wide mouth. I was excited for our loss!

I should have been down to 18 DDD's, BUTTTT I made a bet while in line. Jeric took advantage of me not clarifying too! Hahaha. I said, I'll bet you for 3 days on the color of the car. At first, he rejected the bet. But then, he figured he can take advantage of me not clarifying myself. He said, okay, what color. And I said purple and then waited for his pick. But nope, he isn't picking a color. Basically I assumed we both pick a color and which ever color we get wins, if neither of our color is the color of the car then the void is null. But I didn't clarify! Ugh. Sooo, he said, okay. If it's purple I win, if it's not, he wins! EWWWWWW! Hahaha. Smarty pants!! Of course, it wasn't purple! So there you have it. Instead of leaving with 18 days, I leave with 21. Boooo!

Derpson and His Meds

Derpson gets to take his meds today. I'm not too thrilled because he is soo hard to medicate. Last time, we had to give him pain meds because of his sprained foot. Boy, was it flippin hard. We hid the pill in a banana and he ate the banana, but still managed to spit out the pill. Hahaha. Then we tried bread. No luck. And pancake. Still nothing. Jeric kept trying pancake, and eventually he got him to swallow the pill with it. Silly boy! Then it was my turn to try and get him to take the pink meds (kinda like pepto) from a syringe. I didn't wanna stick the syringe all the way down his mouth because I didn't wanna make him gag or anything. But honestly, I probably should have. Because he kept shaking his head every time I tried and the stuff kept flying out of his mouth landing on me, the floor and even his face! Hahaha. It got messy fo sho! Silly Derp, this stuff is good for you!

Afterwards, Jeric went to the gym to play basketball while I went to my parents house to help install MS Office on Mom Mostajo's computer.

When I got back, Jeric and Patrick played me one of their new songs. I love it! It's very catchy and very summery. Haha. Here's the garage sesh..

They also went out and got Marky a new bass guitar and they all spent the rest of the day making some tunes in the garage.

Meanwhile, I was hanging out in the room catching up on my hulu and porting my old blog into a book. I'm actually almost done with 2010. Can't wait to finally have it all printed out in a book.

I was craving me some sort of ice cream too. It was a toss between Frostbites, Joe's Italian Ice, or Dole Whip from Disneyland. Jeric texted me that we should go to Disneyland. But then, I checked the blockout dates and oh man, we're blocked out! On a Sunday? WHY!!?? It's so weird too because we're not even blocked out on Easter Sunday. You would think we'd be blocked out on Easter Sunday instead of today. Oh well, no Disneyland and no Dole Whip. Booo. Looks like Joe's Italian Ice is the winner!

We wanted to try a new flavor today, but also keep our Mango Tango. Hahaha. So we tried out Joe's O, Dangerberry, Bada Bing Cherry and Wild Cherry. Joe's O tasted like OJ. Yuck. Hahaha. I liked Dangerberry because it was soooo sour, which meant Jeric did not. Wild Cherry, was meh. Tasted like eating maraschino cherries. Double yuck. Looked like we weren't finding a good new flavor, but then we both tried the bada bing cherry and absolutely loved it! It even comes with bits of cherry in it! Jeric described it best too, "tastes like kool-aid!" Haha. It totally does. Yey to our new flavor!

Waiting Lines Suck

We had to take Derp to the vet this morning because his diarrhea hasn't subsided and I read that if it persists for over three days we should take him to the vet. It's been about a week. And seriously, the clean-up is no fun.

So we get to the vet, it's in Riverside mind you. We go here because it's pretty cheap and the Dr. Specializes in English Bulldogs. Well, we check-in and the girl tells me it's a two hour wait. We figured we might be able to drive around some and maybe grab a bite to eat. I also ask the girl if that would be fine and she said yes. So we go and come back in n hour and thirty. I check-in only to find out that not only have we been called twice, but the first call was within thirty minutes of our original check-in!!! Had we known that we would have never freaking left!

Now we were told to wait in the back room and that we'll be seen soon. At first Derp did NOT wanna come in. Jeric had to carry him. Lol.

Here he is with Jeric.. Like a baby.

Eventually I took over because Jeric had a dead leg and he also wanted to play DoodleJump on the iPad. So here's me with baby Derp.

It's been an hour and we still haven't been called. Completely ridic! Jeric was getting pretty upset too. So he had me check and see how long more. And, well.... it turns out that the freaking girl I checked back in with when we came back didn't even bother putting us back into the system! That's why they totally weren't calling us!! Oh my freaking goodness. And then, this girl assisting me said we would be called next. But, nope. We waited and had three other customers called before us! The heck! We've seriously been here for like four hours now! Even Derpson was growing tired of waiting.

After all that, we FINALLY get seen by the Dr. And the examination was sooo freaking quick and easy too. Ugh. Like, seriously? All that waiting for this?

Anyhow, Derp ways almost 48 pounds now! So hefty that one. Hahaha.

And here he is on the examination table. Poor buddy was soo scared that he was shaking.

As for his diarrhea problem, the vet prescribed meds and if the problem persists after a week, we're going to have to send in a stool sample. I'm so hoping it goes away!

Guess the whole visit burned out the little buddy. On the way home, he totally knocked out!

Lurrve the Panda

Panda Express that is. Although, I also lurrve me some real pandas.

Sooo, me and Gen went out for lunch today. Which was probably a really good idea. We've both been suffering from allergies lately. We were both so lovely today with the red noses.. runny nose.. droopy eyes.. and all. LOL.

We decided to eat at good ol' Panda. Originally we were gonna have dim sum, but then I had to finish payroll and there was no way I would finish before dim sum is over. So then, we were thinking where else can we go that isn't too far of a drive for either of us. And that's when we decided on Panda.

Did a one item on a plate (should've asked for a to-go box, they give you more). Ordered me half and half with Jumbo Tangy Shrimp. Good stuff! And a nice and easy lunch too.

Afterwards, we hit up Albertsons because I needed to deposit my paycheck as well as pick up some allergy meds! And then we ended up at target somehow. Hahaha. I just bought me packs of tissue. And that was our lunch!

Later in the evening, me and Jeric went out to eat with Marky and Mom Samoza. It was also hard for us all to decide on where we were going to eat. Especially since so many options aren't allowed because of no meats on Fridays. We almost ended up at Joe's Sushi, but man, it's too expensive per person for all-you-can-eat. Plus, none of us felt like completely stuffing ourselves with the sushi. Haha. And ordering just one roll, probably not worth it either. Soo, we ended up at Panda! Hahaha.

This time I only ordered a bowl. And I tried the peppercorn shrimp. Jeric ordered his two item combo and got a free third item, which was Tangy Jumbo Shrimp. He gave me his third item. :D

And that was panda! Haha. Two times in one day for me!

Fab Five Fridays

I'm going to see if I can keep up with this. It's going to be my weekly fab five of practically anything. Just things I find most interesting for the week!

So here goes! This is my fab five for this week!

1.Found this neat DIY for scarves where you can draw your own pattern onto a scarf and then dye it. Looks pretty and I like how you can make the scarf entirely your own.
2.Need some new recipes? Well, it's spring time and strawberries are in season. So how bout 20 Healthy Strawberry Recipes? I saved about half of the recipes so I can try them out one day. I actually can't wait until we finally have our own place so I can make all of them!
3.Just finished watching the season finale of Pretty Little Liars. I love love looove this show. It's one I can't watch while doing other things. Well, I can actually have it in the background and still follow along while doing other things, but it's the kinda show where I don't wanna do that.
4.Was reading Cosmo at work when I came across an ad page with really cute flats. I saw they had a link, so went to check out the cute flats. They have a ton of cute ones at decent prices. Some are still pretty expensive, but oh sooo cute. Maybe worth the price even.
5.Apparently google reader will be completely gone after July 1st! Yuck! I like having all my blogs in one spot! I don't get why google loves to end things I love to use. Like Picasa. It's no longer Picasa. Everything is completely integrated into google+. I am not a fan of google+'s format for pictures. Very annoying that I have to click "skip tagging" and "do not share" every single time I upload a picture! Ugh! Anyhow, with google reader disappearing, I thought I'd share Bloglovin, which is a new alternative I found through Oh Hello Friend. So, if you love your google reader, I suggest finding an alternative so that you can port all the lovely blogs you read right on over!

Damn You Spring!

It's officially spring and my nose is having a celebration! I'm totally having theee worst case of sinus allergies EVER! Stuffy nose on one side.. runny nose on the other.. congestion.. pressure.. headaches.. the works! It was so bad that I seriously did not want to be at work. Plus Jeric was off sort of. He had an interview at 2:00 pm. So, I notified everyone at work and went home after only two hours of work. When I got home, I knocked the hell out. Jeric also got me sudafed from Dad Samoza. So I'm hoping it relieves this mayhem called allergies!

At about 2:30 pm Jeric gave me a call, apparently his interview went supremely good. I could tell by the sound in his voice. He was super excited telling me about his interview and how it went. Very happy for him. :D I sure hope he gets the job and that they pay well.

When he got home, we went out for some sushi at Kula, the revolving sushi bar in Brea.
Our sushi hand rolls. Crunch roll.. spicy salmon.. spicy tuna.. and yellow tail.

They have this Bluefin Tuna Fair going on right now from the 18th to the 24th where they have these delicious Tuna rolls. So we ordered these ones..
Tiger roll.. Hawaiian roll.. and Godzilla roll.

The Hawaiian Roll was actually kinda gross. It had this mayo or something on it that totally made me gag. Ugh. Hahaha.

Of course, I still felt like crap. Haha. Stupid allergies! So when we got home, I went right back to sleep and Jeric went out to play basketball at the gym.

He came back a few hours later and then went out with his brothers to the mall. I wasn't up to going really, cause I still felt like caca. Instead, I decided to take my midterm way before Monday because if I forget, that would totally freaking suck! And knowing me, I'd definitely forget if I waited til Monday. The prof. broke our midterm up into two sessions. Twenty five questions each and an hour and a half long each. Doesn't seem too bad. And I really like that once you're done, it shows you which answers you got incorrect and what the correct answer was and that it reveals your grade right there on the spot. For the first session I got an 84%. Booo. I really wanted an A. Hahaha. For the second, I was trying to get no more than 1 wrong so that I can have at least 90% total, which would be my A. But I did worse. Hahaha. 80%. Of course, the second session was harder than the first. Oh well. I'm a B student. Still better than average!

Eating.. Errr.. Drinking the Chia Seeds

The chia seeds are all ready for me to drink today!

They look a little weird, no? I was totally hesitant to drink them too. So I did a little research online to make sure there weren't any adverse effects. I didn't find anything, so that was good. And I asked Ty if she tried hers, which she did. She said it wasn't bad.

So, bottoms up! Kinda weird. Tastes sorta like watered down melon. And the texture was kinda like the stuff surrounding the melon seeds. Not bad.

I think I actually like it. And knowing that it's good for you, plus makes you feel full. Definitely a plus!

IDT Lunch Time!

We have our bi-monthly IDT meeting today. And one of the employees has been requesting for some chicken adobo. Sooo, to appease him, we ordered some Filipino food! We made the order at Pinoy Pinay And only ordered three dishes.

A tray of pancit bihon..

A tray of chop suey..

And of course, the tray of chicken adobo.

There was some leftovers too, so I was able to grab a couple of bowls for Jeric. :D

Now, I'm totally craving something sweet. But I can't! Ugh! Hurry up Easter!
