When we got there, Gen opened the back gate and I was holding Derp on his leash. I totally thought Derp would walk forward and as I went to walk with him.. leading with my left food with Derpson on my left side.. Derpson totally decided to walk right in front of me.. taking out my left foot at the same time. And yes, I landed on the floor! LOL. Jeric and Gen swears it looked like Derp didn't even touch me. But nope, my left food felt it.. and I was soo on the floor. Hahahaha.
Anyhow, we finally got Derp in the back and then it was time for Gen to bring Kona out. And right when she did, Derp was dominating! He put his head on her neck and pushed down, showing her who was boss. And then they began playing. Derp was chasing her all around, but she was way too quick for him AND she kept slipping through small spots where Derp couldn't fit. Hahahaha.
After letting them play for awhile, Gen took Kona back in the house and then, we all went to have lunch.
We ate at Baby Guppies! Ordered some kimchi fried rice, popcorn chicken, and BOBA!
Once we were done with lunch, we headed out to Donuttery!
Which is this donut shop in Huntington Beach that Gail says is really good! When we get there though, it looks closed. And on Yelp, it also says closed. But, their sign is lit saying they're open! Gen checked the front door, while I saw an opened door to the side. I peeked in and saw either the owner or the baker. Or maybe he was both. I asked if they were open and he said we can go ahead and go in. Jeric had Derp, so he stayed in the car while me and Gen went inside. And OMG.. I was in awe at all their donut choices!
We ended up with these..
Two nutella frosted strawberry filled.. a red velvet with cream cheese.. red velvet white frosted.. red velvt chocolate frosted.. strawberry strawberry frosted.. strawberry.. blueberry.. apple cinnamon.. french strawberry frosted.. tiger roll.. chocolate bar.. carrot cake.
All were super freaking tasty!! And this was our box.. Gen bought a box for her and Alex. Hands down favorite was the nutella strawberry. After that, top ones are the apple cinnamon, strawberry strawberry frosted and red velvet cream cheese.

When we headed back with our donuts, we relaxed outside and then let Kona and Derp play again. Alex actually came back a little earlier from his biking trip too. So we all hung out chatting and watching them doggies play. Eventually though, Kona was sent inside because she was just too much for Derp. She has too much energy and Derpson was huffing and puffing. Poor little guy runs out of gas too quickly. LOL. Round 1 goes to Kona!
