Here's the happy FUN committee!
They planned the entire thing and setup everything. They even had a bunch of games for everyone to participate in.
The first game was the obstacle course, which wasn't your typical obstacle course. You had to pair up with a partner and one of them was blind folded. The one who wasn't blind folded had to lead the blind folded partner around a path and then when they reached certain pit-stops the blind folded one had to reach into a bucket and grab something from the bucket and wear it. Haha! It was super hilarious to see. The winner would be the team that reached the finish line first.
These are all that participated. I would've loved to join, but I probably would've tripped and fell. No good for baby!
The next game was the pipe relay. I probably could've joined this one, but I didn't know what it consisted of until they actually started it. You basically grab a team of four and line up pipes and get a ball to go from the pipes into a bucket.
Another game they had was a watermelon eating contest! I totally could have joined this one, but there was no way I was going to because it's way too messy. That totally didn't stop a bunch of other folks, including one of the VP's of IS!
The last game was the water balloon toss. I totally decided to join this one. I thought it would be no biggie.
Too bad I got out super fast. Haha. My team mate, Bevra, didn't toss it back to me high enough. Bummer! That's okay though, there was no way I would've gotten close to being as far as the winners were.
After the last game, there were so many more water balloons left and it was pretty hot, so some folks decided to pelt others with the water balloons and it turned into an all out war! LOL! It got to the point where buckets of the water were tossed on folks!
The picnic was super fun and everyone had a great time! The best part? It was during work hours.. the last two hours of work on Thursday!
