I. Hate. Allergies.

I had this nasty, annoying cough for almost three weeks now.  I went to the Dr.'s and they prescribed me Amoxicillin, which totally did it's job.  That was until I ran out of pills (it was a 10 day subscription.  Where's the refill on that?). When the pills were gone.. The mucus decided to come out from hiding and attack with vengeance!

Luckily I have Allegra pills in my pill box.  I'm hoping these will relieve the congestion.  Ugh!  I hate allergies!

Adventures in Disneyland

Such a pretty sunny day with a light breeze today.  Disney date perfection!

We decided to just hang around leisurely today since we knew ride lines were gonna be straight madness.  I also got me cute Minnie ears!

We started out by trying to get a pic with Minnie Mouse (to go with the ears of course), but that was fail.  When we got there she was leaving.  The cast member did say she was only going to grab cheesecake with Mickey and be right back out.

While waiting we thought we might as well get a pic with Donald too.

Minnie Mouse still wasn't back when we finished so we headed into Pluto's line.

We were thinking we can get the fav five (except goofy.. He wasn't out for photos).  But sadly when we were done taking a photo with Pluto, both lines for Mickey and Minnie were closed off.  Boo.

Oh well.  Castle pic time!

We were surprised by a visit from Tinkerbell too!

At least I was surprised.  I think Jeric was disgusted.  Hahaha.

While strolling around Fantasyland we saw that folks were trying to pull out Excalibur.  They just couldn't do it.  Weaklings!  Let us release Excalibur!

Disneyland for Another Year!

Another full year of Disneyland!!  Didn't even know we were gonna get passes.  It was totally a spur of the moment kinda thing.  We were at Mitsuwa looking for a thermal bento when Jeric got a text from Ivan.. And that was all it took.  Expensive?  Yes, but way worth it.

We met up with Ivan and Patrick right when we were buying our passes.  And then we met up with Marky's friends inside.  Everyone decided on Space Mountain.  This would be the very first ride me and Jeric rode without our GAC pass.  45 minute wait!  It used to be like 5-10 min.  Ohh how spoiled we were.

Still we waited.. Not like we have a choice.  It was fun though!  Always is.

New Book

I'm starting this book today because I've heard so much about it.  My cousin, Vincent, suggested this as my next book.  I saw he read it from a post on Instagram and asked him about it because I've heard it's a tear jerker.  He didn't give a thing away though.  I also asked how the Divergent series was, which he said was real good.

I did have a dilemma.. Which book to read first.  So I asked him and he asked, "what was the last book you read?"  It was a super girly series, The Selection.  And because of that, he said to read The Art of Racing In the Rain.

So here goes..

Working Out Again

It's been a long time coming!  But I finally found my way back.  Lol.  I haven't worked out at all since October last year, so it feels really good to be back at it.  I did as much as I could remember from our Barre Fitness days (man I miss those days).  The classes last an hour, but I could only hang for a good thirty min or so.  I was dying!  Lol.  And I don't even recall ALL the moves.  Oh well.  I'll take what I can get. I know I wrote them down somewhere too.  Just gotta find them.  I also don't have my fitness ball yet.  Actually, I do have it, it's just super deflated.  The husby needs to find a pimp.  I mean pump!  But pimp's alright. LOL!

Omg!  My legs feel like JELLO!  And my back kinda hurts.  Hmmm.. There's a high chance my posture was way off.  And I'm sure tomorrow I'll feel worse.  Still.. I will push through!  Besides I LOVE working out!

So Busy These Days

I know, it ain't Xmas and my background.. LOL. I've just been super busy these days. Started a new job about a week ago and then I got sick. Blah! Ended up being post nasal drip. YUCK! I've never had it before and I wish I never have it again. Trust me, if you've never had it, you never want it! And it's just an allergy. As if I didn't already have my fill of other allergies... Sinuses and Eczema. Yes, let's just add a new one to the list.

If you're wondering what it's like? Coughing! Non-stop coughing! Coughing all day.. all night.. when you talk.. when you breath.. it SUCKS! And, it lasts super long. I've had it for like two weeks already. It has gotten a tad better, but still isn't gone.

Anyhow, hopefully I get into the flow of things at work and hopefully I'm rid of this damn cough. And then I should be back to blogging away!

Whoa.. it's been awhile

If you're wondering where I've been, I was away.. sipping on the juice of life's lemons.

I just went through a pretty hell-ish ordeal, which some of you may know about. So, I didn't really feel like blogging.

I'm better now though! And I am back and ready to blog again! HORRAY!!

Anyhow, on-wards we go...

So, yesterday, me and Jeric went to a Clipper game. Ivan's co-worker sold us tickets. They were down below in the 100's, Section 117 to be exact. And only 16 rows back. Pretty damn good seats. They played Miami, so we totally wanted the tickets. Win or lose, we thought it would be well worth it to see Lebron play live.


The seats were fantastic. We were off to the side of the Clipper's bench. And the game? Awesome! At the beginning I thought it was gonna be a Miami blowout. They were up by a lot and the Clippers just didn't seem like they could bounce back. They couldn't defend well and even with hand-in-face the heat drained threes like nothing.

And then it was the second half. And the Clippers came back!! Brought it to within 5. So there was hope. But then hope was slightly deflated as the Clippers found themselves down by 12. Little by little, though, they chipped away and then it was a like a playoff game!

Minutes left in the fourth.. only down by 4.. and the crowd going absolutely nuts!

These are the games that make tickets well worth the money. Win or lose.

Of course, the cherry on top would be Clippers closing out with a W, but Lawler's Law (It's the Law!) took into effect. Miami hit 100 first, and they ended up winning 116-112.

Oh well.. time for dinner!
