Quiche Cupcakes

Making me some quiche cupcakes for portable, quick breakfasts!

First you put chopped tomatoes on the bottom of an oiled cupcake tray.

Then add some chopped mushrooms to that.

Add some chopped spinach after that. You can even cook down the spinach before hand if you want to.


Now, scramble 6-8 eggs in a large bowl and add that to each cupcake mold.

And Bake!

Sleeping w/ Lola Dinky

We left Zoë with Lola Dinky and headed out to Target and came back to a really cute moment. They were napping together! Baby Zoë was totally knocked out on Lola Dinky. Melts my heart.

Zoë's First Thanksgiving!

After brunch, she certainly did what everyone else does on Thanksgiving... Watched Football!

For dinner, we headed to Wilton to celebrate with the rest of the Samozas.

I will never turn down free food.

Today, the company wanted to celebrate our Gallup scores. Gallup scores are gained from the Gallup survey, which focuses on the things that are important to employees. Anyhow, they like to encourage all employees to take the survey and because our numbers were really good, they rewarded us with free food.

They gave away turkey burgers!

Jeric's Birthday Wish

I wanted to take Jeric out to eat for his birthday and asked him where he wanted to eat. He chose to eat at Goofy's Kitchen because he wanted to see Zoë's reaction to all the characters.

Zoë was totally knocked out the entire time we were eating. She did have some wonderful visitors stop be though...




She did eventually wake up though and who did she get a picture with? None other than Chip! Daddy's favorite chipmunk.

She also got to meet Pluto.

Surprise Birthday for the Kambal!

I've been planning a little party for Jeric & Ivan's 30th! I couldn't really head out to a bar or anything, so I opted to throw a party at the apartment. Keeping it a surprise from Jeric was pretty hard! Especially, since we're always near each other because neither of us want to be apart from Zoë for so long.

I checked out Party City and saw that they had some pretty neat WWE themed stuff. Yah, that's totally what I'm going to decorate with.

Denise & Ray came by early to help watch Zoë and help me setup for the party. While Denise was watching Zoë she totally got her to laugh too!

Once Marky convinced Jeric to head over to the parentals, we headed out to pick stuff up.

The first on the list to pick-up was balloons. I didn't think about this, but I forgot to take the stroller out of the trunk AND we were all in the Mini Cooper. Denise was stuck in the back with Zoë and a mother load of balloons. LMAO!

Now it was time to decorate!

Denise and Ray handled that while I headed out to pick up some things and An and Geoff got there before I got back and helped out as well. Thank you guys! I wouldn't have been able to pull this off without you!

Jeric and Ivan were totally surprised too! Hahaha. They were expecting to go out for sushi though and we knew that would be a slight let down. Haha!

Celebrating 3 and 30!

Today marks Zoë's 3 Month Old Celebration and it also marks Jeric's 30th Birthday! Happy birthday my two loves! *smoochies*

Work Freebies

Not bad for my 2nd day back to work. Still cried on the way there though. Thankfully my drive to work is quite a long one. It gives me time to cry, breath and regain composure before walking through the glass double doors of my 9-5 hell hole.

Anyhow, today was kinda cool because when I walked over to the mother's room over in the other building, I saw that they were giving out freebies that included a cute hot & cold water bottle. It's for their iGive campaign, which basically asks employees if they'd like to contribute to the foundation, since MemorialCare is a non-for-profit organization. I didn't donate, but I did get the freebie!

Back to Work *Cry*

I'm officially back to work today and this is one of the toughest days ever. It took me forever to say goodbye to my baby girl and, yes, I totally cried on the way to work. Luckily, we have a baby monitor setup and I can watch live streaming video of her. It does help out, even if it's just by a tad. I really don't think I'm cut out to be a working mother. :(

It was also a bit difficult getting to work on time. I'm still breastfeeding, so I have to breastfeed right before I get ready for work and I also have to make sure I have all my pump supplies too so that I can pump at work.

As for pumping at work, there's a mother's room that I can go to and I have it scheduled for 3 times a day. Which is actually a lot and is a bit tough, but I'd rather be at work pumping than at my desk missing my baby. At least, I can turn on the baby monitor or even face time!

Can't wait for the day to end so I can see my baby!

Getting My Hair Did

It's about time I head out to get my hair did. Sadly, it's because I go back to work tomorrow and I don't want to look like a hot mess.

Anyhow, I found a new salon near me, Salon réBelle. I just yelped for a salon nearby that had a bunch of good reviews.

The exterior of the store front looked pretty modern and new.

And the inside looked really nice!

It was a really huge salon. And a tad bougie.

You even get this spa like robe to wear while getting your hair did.

As for my hair.. I think a cut was long overdue. Check out my before and after... (before to the left, after to the right).

I must say, this was also the first and longest I've been away from my baby. I missed her so, but I knew she was with Daddy. As for Daddy, he had a wonderful time with baby Zoë.

Delicious Din Din

For din din tonight, I'm having rice with a yolky egg and two adelle's sausages! Cracking the yolky egg over a bed a rice... pure bliss!

Surprising Great Mama Again

We decided to surprise Mama with a visit from Zoë again! Mama was so very happy!

Ate Len also stopped by and got to visit with baby Zoë too!

Poor Baby's Teething

Poor Zoë, she's beginning to teeth! I know it seems early, but I've read that teething can start any time and doesn't necessarily mean that she's going to cut teeth already. It just means that tooth or teeth are growing and making their way towards the surface. I've also read that the teeth can grow and then recede and then grow and then recede.

Sprawled Out

Zoë takes up a whole lot of bed space for such a teeny tiny little human. Lately she's been sleeping with her whole body sprawled out.

After Halloween Candy Splurge

I've always wanted to buy candy after Halloween since they're all on sale and we finally did it! We went to Target today to buy a bunch of Halloween candy.

New Show... Quantico

I'm starting a new show today, Quantico. I've been meaning to watch it for awhile now, but with all my other shows, it's been tough adding a new one. Well, I've caught up on a bunch of other shows and still have another week before I go back to work, so I thought I'd start!

I must say, this show is pretty damn awesome!

Sprinkles Cupcake Treat

Jeric got sprinkles cupcakes at work today and brought me one home!

I devoured it in seconds! Lol!

Because Zoë's Going to Love Books Like Mommy

I want Zoë to love books just as much as I do, so I'm going to read her stories and let her touch books. I have a book full of a bunch of nursery rhymes for her as her very first book.
