We all felt so bad for him, he looked sooo skinny!
That's when we convinced my Dad to take him to the ER. He just didn't want to hear it if it was bad news.

We all went because he is like a brother to us!
We waited for a good hour and at first, the Vet said there's a chance that it could be just an infection, which can easily be taken care of with meds. But then, to become more conclusive, they wanted to draw his blood and check samples.
So, we waited around some more, and then the Vet came back with bad news. She said that it seemed like his levels were way off and that he may have Cancer. They wanted to do more extensive blood work and start him on treatments and keep him on an IV and in the ER. But that would've cost my parent's thousands of dollars, which they didn't have to spare.
My Dad, with all of us agreeing, decided to take him home and then bring him to another Vet in the morning. At least he got an IV in and looked a bit healthier. We really hoped he was going to be okay.
