Today we spent the entire day at Papa and Mama's house for Kristen's birthday!
There was plenty of food, so we sat around eating and chatting. And then there was the All-Star game, so we watched that for the rest of the day.
We had major bets on the All-Star games. First was skills. Neither of our picks made it, so that bet was null. Jeric picked Tony Parker (last year's winner) and I chose Jeremy Lin cause I didn't know anyone else. LOL. Both were West player, so there was a 66% chance one of our guys would make it to final round. But nope, was totally the 3rd guy that made it.. Damian Lillard (some rookie). LOL. Next was the three-point shoot out. I didn't really know who to pick, and Jeric did make a suggestion, he said Kyre Irving was good. So I chose him. While Jeric picked Stephen Curry. Jeric's pick didn't make it out of round 1 and my pick totally won! Hahaha. Lastly was the slam dunk contest. I believe Jeric picked Kennith Faried. And once again, I had no idea who to pick. This time though, I didn't go with Jeric's pick. I don't even remember who I picked. Needless to say, neither of our picks made it to the finals. But then, we took a bet on the final two. Hahaha. I picked Ross and Jeric picked Evans. I thought Evans was actually gonna win with his final dunks because he totally dunked over a poster of him dunking and then signed it. And since it was popularity vote by the masses, it seemed more likely to win over Terrance Ross' dunks. But, with 58% of the votes, Terrance Ross wins! Hahaha.
We also bet on total points of East versus West! Mwahaha. I totally whooped butt. I picked West! \x/estSide! Hahaha. Man, Jeric ended up with a mother load of DDD's. Like 17 days! Hahaha. Woohoo!
That was pretty much our day!
I also wore my first pair of Kobe's today! Love 'em with shorts. Perfect for hot days!
