Wore Out the Derpson

Soo, we took the Derp boy out to Downtown Disney. We walked him around a bit, but it was so darn hot, he got super tired quick. So we stopped off and sat at the planters near House of Blues. We hung out there for a bit and Jeric got some water for Derp.

While hanging out, I had a bright idea. I thought we should get Derp the closest he'll ever get to going inside Disneyland! We should bring him right into the middle of both park entrances!

We weren't really sure if it would work. We actually thought it really might not and that a security guard would stop us and send us out like last time. But we thought we'd try anyways.

Jeric stood back a bit to watch as I took the Derpson through the bag check gates. He thought I'd totally get sent back and so did I actually. And so we went. Jeric thought it was really funny how Derp waited in line with me. Hahaha. He stopped when I stopped and walked when I walked. I love how he walks with us! He's not the type of dog that just wanders off.

Anyhow, it totally worked! We got the Derpson inside!! YEY! Look at this cutie patootie! >> The bad thing, he was way way waaaay tired and probably super over heated. Poor thing. He was already tired when we got to House of Blues and we dragged him all the way to the end. He was heaving like crazy. We felt so bad and Jeric tried to carry him all the way back, but he was just waay to heavy. Hahaha. So we stopped by Wetzels Pretzel, got him some ice cold water and let him rest a bit. And then we continued back towards the parking lot. He was still very hot and very tired. He kept stopping when there was shade, or tugging me towards shade spots! Hahaha. Well, at least the Derpson got as close as he can get to Disneyland!
