Hanging With the Mostajo Fam Bam

Went to hang out at Brian and Ivon's today. They leave for NYC in a few days so they wanted to have dinner with the fam before hand.

They made lasagna for dinner. It's the Stouffer's lasagna from Ralphs, which I must say is way better than the Costco lasagna.

I also showed them the wedding album since we just got it a few weeks ago. They were all happy to finally be able to see the pictures. LOL. Because I remember about a month ago.. my mom was like, "Why haven't we seen any of your pictures??" LOL. So, at least they finally saw 'em.

After dinner, we decided to play some mahjong. Actually, funny thing. Earlier in the day, I texted our group text telling my brother that I can make it for dinner. My dad did the same thing. Except, when he messages us, he uses a TON of emoji's! LOL. I can usually understand them. But I was having a tough time with his recent message. He sent us "I'm ok with" and then pictures of chicken, hamburger, pizza, bread, ice cream and a fork and spoon. Which I understood as him being okay with eating anything for dinner. But then he proceeded that with square boxes with numbers 1 - 9. He totally lost me there! LOL. So I messaged, "Dad, your messages don't make sense anymore." And my brother was like, "U started him on it Eva." LOL. Eventually my dad explained that the 1-9 was Escalera, which, if you're not familiar with, is a term in mahjong when you have tiles in order from 1 - 9! OI VEY! Guess that meant, he wanted to play mahjong! LOL. And basically, that's how we decided to play tonight.

It was fun as it always is. And I WON! Hahaha. So, that made it a whole lot more fun! They made a new rule too, which they got from one of Ivon's relatives. Basically, if you fed the winning tile, you have to pay them twice their winnings! At first, this was killing me. Because I fed the winning tile like 3 or 4 freaking times!! But then, finally, I got pay back. And Brian fed me my winning tile! Which totally profited me 120! Sa-weet. Fun stuff!
