Ice Cream at Paradise Pier

We've been meaning to try the ice cream from Paradise Pier for like forever. We always see people with the large swirls of ice cream in a cone and always crave it, but never tried it.. least not til today!

We both wanted our own.. I think that was a big mistake for me. Hahaha. Plus we had to scarf it down quickly because the Toy Story Mania line was moving pretty fast. Jeric had no problem finishing his. But I had to give him some of mine because it was too much and we were almost at the front of the line! Hahaha. Totally finished it just in time though. And it was absolutely delicious. One cone is way too much for me though.


As for Toy Story.. I whopped some butt.. Hahaha.. Jeric does not look pleased.. LOL! Victory shall be mine!!!


But, as always, I win Toy Story and lose at Buzz Lightyear...

And there he goes celebrating early again.. at least I shot him! Mwahahaha. We also wanted to ride Space Mountain since it's been awhile. Yey for going on a new ride!! For some reason, it was a lot darker than I remembered and it went, what seemed like, a lot faster too! Still, I don't dare to raise my hands in there. It's way too dark and I'd like to keep my hands. If you're wondering why I say so.. there's rumors of a guy getting his hand completely cut off because he was raising it in the ride and it ran into something. Yikes! Maybe it never happened.. or maybe they fixed it so it doesn't have a chance of happening again.. but I'm not gonna take my chances!

Movie Time

Now that all my shows are out for the season.. it's totally time to catch up on movies!!

I loved both movies! I like all the Cinderella redo's, but this I like most, cause I really like Lucy Hale! Totally can't wait until PLL comes back too!

In-N-Out.. How I Missed You!

I was starving and so was Jeric. And I was craving a burger, so I suggested we go eat at In-N-Out after work today!

We both ordered a double double.. his with grilled onions, mine with none. That's our standard order. No fries this time though. We're trying to cut out the really bad stuff.. and fries are pretty bad!


I must've been starving, because I totally killed my burger before Jeric did! That almost NEVER happens! Hahaha.

Flying Home From Vegas... THE BEST!

We woke up early this morning so that we could pack up and grab a taxi to McCarran airport. Me, Jeric and Marky all had tickets to fly home from Vegas! Jeric forgot that Monday was a holiday and he didn't want to drive home on Sunday, thinking we had work on Monday. So he booked us flights.

Anyhow, we totally were pretty close to missing our flight. Hahaha. We were running 15 minutes behind schedule due to bathroom breaks. LOL. And when we got downstairs to hail a cab, the worker said they had a shuttle, which ended up being cheaper than a cab. The only problem is, they had to fill it before leaving the hotel. Luckily that was only about a 5 minute delay.

By the time we got to the airport, Jeric ran to a comp to print out our boarding passes, but OMG. It was giving us problems and wouldn't allow him to print them out! Eventually one of the assistants said we had to go in line. We did purchase Southwest tickets and dayam that line was long as hell! But lucky us! We were on AirTran!! And there was absolutely no line. So we checked in and got our boarding passes. The lady did say, wow, you guys are late. Which pretty much freaked us out a bit. So Jeric took hold of both of our bags and told me and Marky to run!!

So we ran as fast as we could and totally made it JUST IN TIME!! LOL! We were the LAST folks to board! Phew!

Now we can relax!! And woohoo.. cookies and drinks!


Jeric's parent's picked us up when we landed and they also took us out to eat for lunch!! We ate at good ol' Kimlo! Everyone practically ordered the same thing.. #69 with egg!

I Loooove Our Slot!

Today started out super chill. We all were supposed to head out to one of those huge pool parties. Especially since a lot of celebrities were around. But 1, the prices were very high, probably 50 - 100 per person, and 2, everything was practically sold out! Oh well. I wasn't prepared anyways. Totally forgot my swim suit. Anyhow, since that didn't pan out, half of the group went down to the pool at our hotel, the Flamingo. The rest of us split and just did our own thing.

Me and Jeric did try to get into the pool area, but man, there was a line to get in! So we said forget it and just headed out for some food. We decided for some place we normally don't eat iat.. Serendipty! I was also craving one of their desserts, but gotta satisfy the hunger first.
We had to wait awhile and they would text us when our table's up, so we walked around Caesar's Palace. Eventually we ended up at the Nike store.. check out Mr Elite! Haha.

We both ordered a burger and one order of fries..


Gotta say, food here ain't that great. And we were too stuffed to even order dessert! Which is what they're really known for. Oh well.

After that, we all met up at the hotel again and then hung out for a bit. Then everyone got ready.

It was about dinner time but me and Jeric were too stuffed from Serendipty. Half the group ended up eating at M Buffet. And then it was nothing but gambling time!

Me and Jeric were in search for the machine we both won at in Paris. And we found it!! It's the 3x, 4x, 5x, Double Times Pay Machine! That thing is awesomesauce! Because we both totally won again!!

Heading to Vegas!!

We're heading to Vegas today!!

Me and Dre picked up the rental while we waited for Jeric to get off work and as soon as we made it back, Jeric was there and we were all ready to go. Next stop.. VEGAS!

We got there pretty late.. but not bad, only about 4 and a half hours, which was average. There was hefty traffic, according to Jeric (I knocked out almost the entire ride). But he kept cutting people off and driving like a mad man. Hahaha. Guess that helped a lot.

Anyways, we got there, checked in, and then met up with everyone else. We were pretty starving, so that was the first thing we did. Everyone else was hungry too.

Since it was for Patrick's birthday, we let him choose. And we ended up at BURGR, which was owned by Gordon Ramsey!

Jeric made fun of how it was spelled. But then, if you look at the menu.. the BUR are black and the GR are red. And Patrick actually figured it out.. GR.. GORDON RAMSEY! Hahaha.. SPOT ON!

Here's are burger.. delicious? YES. Enough? Not so much. Hahaha. Oh well, it did the job.


After dinner, we all gambled and hung out.. and then that was it.. on to tomorrow!

Derpson's Party!

I gotta tell you, we tried the cake, since websites stated it was pretty good. Ewww mang, no thanks. It wasn't good at all. But.. the doggies sure loved it!

Derpson's Birthday Cake!

After taking a bunch of cute pictures.. we proceeded with the cake baking.

The recipe calls for..

1 egg
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup veggie oil
1/3 cup honey
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup shredded carrots

Had to shred the carrots my self..


Then sift the baking soda and flour..


and then add all the rest of the ingredients and mix away.


Then spoon the batter into a baking dish. The site recommended a 6" pan, but all I had was a 9". Oh well, I'll make do. Gonna cut the cake into a cute shape anyhow.


You gotta preheat the oven to 360 and bake for 40 minutes.... so says this site. Partial way through, while washing dishes, my nose caught wind of the deliciousness filtering the air! Hahaha. My timer didn't go off though, so I didn't bother checking. Big mistake! The cake burned!! UGH!

Then I saw another site.. it sayd 180 degrees for 40 minutes! GAAAHHH! Oh well, here I go again. Yup, that's right. I'm gonna take another stab at it. And HOPEFULLY it comes out right. This time I'm gonna check on it every 10 minutes too!

30 minutes later.... TADA! It looks, meh, but definitely note burned. As for tastes, I sure hope the doggies like it.. I on the other hand, want real cake!

Happy 1st Birthday Derpson!

Today Derpson turns 1! Horray! And we decided to really celebrate his birthday as we humans do!

I found an awesome cake recipe that's not only dog friendly, but English Bulldog friendly. We practically had most the ingredients already, so I only had to stop by the grocery store for a few things after work. I also picked him up a cute birthday hat!!

When I got home.. Jeric was already with the Derpson for his potty time. And when I opened the car door I was greeted by the little fluffster! I showed him his bag of cake goodies too and he seemed excited. Well, I definitely was!

Jeric then placed his birthday hat on!! Hahaha. He didn't like it too much, but he can't really use his paws to take it off his head cause he's just too chubby! Here's daddy and mommy with the birthday boy!

Jeric Felt Bad For Me

We went to Disneyland again today. Since we didn't get to ride splash mountain yesterday, that was first on our list for today. Love the ride. I do wish it was longer though. After the drop, we were both like.. you gotta see my pose! Hahaha. I totally freaking cracked up when I saw Jeric's!

"I am cornholio. I need teepee for my bumhole!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ROFL! TOO FUNNY!!! Sadly, you can't tell who I'm impersonating. My face was sorta blocked. LOL. I was jutting my bottom jaw out. Trying to imitate the Derpson! LOL!

At this point I had 225 DDD's! So I bet Jeric 75 on Buzz Lightyear. Yah, total fail. I swore I was hitting targets but my score was not moving! YUCK! I lost that one pretty badly. And since I swore it was a glitch, I demanded a rematch. For... wait for it... 200 DAYS! Hahaha, probably a stupid move. I know. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

And OMG.. I LOST AGAIN! But Jeric felt bad for me. I would've had 500 days! LOL!! He decided to spin the car so he lost by default.. on purpose. THANKS CACAHEAD!!!!


After Disneyland, we hit up the gym. We went to the one in GardenWalk. Not a fan of that 24 hour fitness.

Chores and Hulu

Came home early today. I was a bit sneezy too, and when I turned on our fan, dust bunnies fell off it. That's when I decided to clean the fan. So it was definitely chore time.

Did the rest of my thank you cards too! Check out the fan and how much dust it accumulated! While doing chores, I also watched me some Grey's Anatomy.

Disney Days

Another wonderful day at Disneyland!

Saw these really pretty Dahlias! They were right in the middle of Disneyland, where the Walt statue is! Soooo pretty. And then there's Pinochhio and Jiminy right there to the left. Of course we played the usual.. Toy Story and Buzz. And OMG! I totally lost in both! UGh! Not my day today! As you can see, I was taking my anger out on the ride. Hahaha! And then on Buzz, freaking Jeric already claiming victory before the ride was over! He did win though. Bleh!

While Jeric was off playing basketball.. I was home chillin today. Since it was hot.. this is how I found Juno sleeping..

Iron Man 3

After Reese's birthday party, we went home to feed Derp and then met back up at Alex and Gen's so that we can head out to Long Beach Town Center to watch Iron Man 3! The movie was pretty good, at least I thought so. Jeric liked it too, except for the ending. I guess they sorta of face forwarded the end part and it was more of a telling of what happened rather than a showing. I hope that makes sense. If not, oh well. Hahaha. It was fun watching a movie in the theaters too, it's definitely been awhile! Afterwards, we also got to play around with Kona for awhile.

Reese's 1st Birthday Party - Woodland Themed

Went to Torrance to celebrate Reese's first birthday! The theme was super cute. Woodland Themed!

They had the taco man providing food.. cute woodland animal masks.. and delicious cake pops made by Joan!


There were also some delicious mushroom cupcakes and fruits for dessert.

The cutest part was when it was time for Reese's cake! They set him up on his high chair and gave him his cake.. at first, he was smearing most of the cake all over his legs, but eventually he started using the spoon Karen gave him. Hahaha.


And of course, he put some on his Daddy's face.. and would not give the spoon back to his Mommy! LOL

Karen put some icing on his nose.. he doesn't seem too pleased. LOL.

Jeric looooves pancakes!

Jeric made his request for some of my pancakes again. He really loves 'em! :) Which I'm super glad about. And that's what we had for dinner! Pancakes!

Hanging With the Mejia's for Reese's 1st Birthday at DISNEYLAND!

Anthony and Karen finally used the Disneyland tickets that they won from one of our wedding games today. They were saving it to use for when Reese was much older. And today he turns 1!

I got a text from Karen this morning and there was actually a little hiccup with the tickets. Apparently one of them was used on May 8, 2011! Whoopsie! Me and Jeric felt soooo bad that this happened. But luckily Jeric was able to get a hold of Cookie and he was able to get them a new ticket. Phew! We still felt pretty bad though because it wasted a bit of their time.

Anyhow, after me and Jeric got off work, we went to meet them at Disneyland. They were probably in a ride when we got there, so we went off to Cali Adv first. Of course, for some good ol' Toy Story Mania. I lost the last game we played, so I picked this ride. And I won! YEY!

After that, we met up with Anthony, Karen and their cutie pie, Reese! They were in line for Buzz already. So we went through the fastpass section and ended up only a few groups behind. They actually let people in front of them so that we can ride next to each other.

This was still for another bet. And dummy me accepted 70 days! LOL. Yes, I totally lost too. GAAAAHHH!

When we were done emailing our Buzz Lightyear pictures, we headed out to ride It's a Small World. But man, it was a bit crazy trying to get there because the parade was going on. Haha. Oh well, we eventually got there! Reese seemed to be enjoying the ride.. looking left and right.. taking everything in. And at the end of the ride, we got to see his super happy face!

It was a whole lot of fun hanging with Anthony, Karen and little Reese for his 1st birthday in Disneyland!!

We would've stayed longer too, but we were pretty starving. Had some din din and good ol' Coldstone!
