Day One... Year Three

Jeric thought of this awesome idea where we would take a photo that our photog took of us during our wedding and re-create it now that I'm preggo. Since my belly is way huge and since we're pretty darn close to baby Zoe greeting the world, now would be the best time to do so.

First we had to find the right area and right picture to re-create. We found a few different ones. All of them were taken at the trail near the bottom of Summit House. We saved them to our phones, grabbed a tripod, the D90 and headed on out! Of course that was after getting ready and making sure I had plenty of water to bring with me since it was going to be a hot day.

We made our way to the spot and while I waited in the car, Jeric was out there positioning the camera so that it captured the same spot as our photos. All our photos were in the same spot, but at different angles and perspectives. We decided to try taking all the different ones and then we'll pick the best one when we view them at home.

It was a lot of fun and a bit of challenging. We had to keep comparing the photos we took with the one's saved on our phones to make sure that we had the right angles and the right poses. It's so different doing it our selves than having the photog direct us on where to look and how to turn and what not. Still, we got it done! All that was needed was us picking the best replica and then using good ol' photoshop to add the special effects.
