Jeric Loses Yet Again

Work started out with me totally forgetting to bring my lunch! Ahhhh. I was totally just gonna eat a piece of toast, but luckily one of the owners brought some home made pancit! Woot, I am saved!!

Later, after work, me and Jeric totally hit up Disney's California Adventure to bet on some Toy Story Mania again! Hahaha. He still swears that I wont beat him, but everytime.. I totally whoop butt! LOL

Today is no different. I kill him by 50k points! Mwahahaha.


And that is his losing face. Or his oh crap face because he has 29 DDD days! Mwahahaha.

The Newest Addiction

Ever since we got the iPad I've been extremely freaking addicted to the game, plants vs zombies! It's this strategy game where u plant plants on your front lawn so they can kill zombies that are headed to attack your home. There's like different plants that do different things, so you gotta make sure you plant them accordingly. Pretty fun!

BMW Servicing

Jeric has his "check engine" light go off over the weekend. Funny thing is, it happened RIGHT after his warranty expired! Which means, no more free servicing. Hmmm.. coincidence? I think not! More like, conspiracy!! LOL. Anyhow, luckily Shelly BMW has theeee best customer service ever! They said that since it was a day off, as courtesy, they'll take it in for servicing on Tuesday morning.

Since Jeric has to work early, I got to take his car in for servicing! Of course, that also meant I had to wake up way wayyy early since the car needed to be there at 7:00 AM, which was chosen because we had no idea how long it would take and I had to be in the office by 9:00 AM at the latest.

So, here I am. At good ol' Shelly BMW for servicing. And while waiting, I was offered snacks, muffins, bottled waters, tea and coffee!

At first, I made myself some tea. But then Jeric totally texted me and said I should try their French Vanilla. He said I'd like it. So I dumped my tea out and grabbed me a cup of French Vanilla coffee! Gen and Jenn would be ohhh soo proud! Hahaha. They've been trying to get me hooked on coffee, but I just can't drink it how they do. LOL. As for the rest of the snacks? I got my self a bag of teddy grahams and a lemon muffin.

Sour Green Apples

Totally wanted to bring my new toy to work today, but had no case for it. I left it at home.. totally didn't wanna risk anything. So, right after work, I headed straight over to the apple store in Brea mall! Hahaha. Got the smart case and totally loving it. They had a few cute colors.. like sky blue.. crimson red.. grey.. tan.. etc. I ended up with green. Reminds me of sour green apples! Hahaha. So vibrant. Lurrrve it!

Our New Toy

Since we missed out on Derp's doggie date yesterday, we made sure to make time for him today.

But first, we pick up our new toy! We're getting us an iPad. We had a bunch of target gift cards, and totally got it for free! :D

Since we bought the iPad in Brea's target, we decided to walk Derp around downtown Brea first. That's where I spotted this awesome looking car.


Then, we took sir Derpson to the doggy park. And it was totally time to go back home. We showered and I needed to finish homework, but first, we play with our new toy!

Nothing But Errands

Spent the day driving around today. Hahaha. That's all we did. Errands errands errands.

A Little Rain Wont Hurt.. How Bout Hail?

Mr weather man totally said there was going to be rain today and a lot of it. But as my morning started, it was just frost bite cold outside and not a drop of rain. After work, still no sign of actual rain hitting the concrete, which is one of my favs. I seem to love the smell of fresh rain on concrete. I have no idea why, I just like it. Of course, I'm notorious for liking weird smells.

Ok, back to the rain. I got home and it really didn't seem like it was gonna rain any time soon. Besides, whether it was gonna rain or not, we were determined to keep at it and still head to the gym. So we went, did our thing and when we got out, it seriously looked like it drizzled, but in certain spots only. It wasn't til we got to our car that we noticed it really did rain. I was seriously like, "That's it? All that hoopla over a small stinking shower?" And, well, since it wasn't currently raining, nor did it look like it was going to rain again, we headed to target because I totally wanted a zip up hoodie for working out. And they had Mossimo one's for like $20. So off to target! By the way, I totally love target, so do all the homies. Target is just that fantabulous! LOL.

Ten minutes later, and we're at target! I hit up women's clothing while Jeric went to electronics. I found a few sweaters that looked fine, but totally wanted to ask for Jeric's opinion. So I was walking down the aisle and saw Jeric coming back where I was. Guess he was done at electronics. Perfect timing!

As we were walking towards each other, rain apparently started pouring down. And it seemed like it was coming down hard! You could hear it hit against Target's roof! Sounded like a monsoon out there! Jeric went to check it out while I waited in line. Of course, he didn't fail to snapchat the moment. And then I sent him back out there to get me a snapshot! LOL.

Here's the photo he snapped for me. Honestly, the picture doesn't do the scene much justice. As for my sweater? Jeric liked this grey one I had, so that's the one I was supposed to get. But as the lady was ringing it up, she flipped it over and I saw that the back had large print on it in like metallic rainbow! Ewww, no thanks! Hahaha. We totally left without it. And then, the moment we walked in the front door, Jeric's mom

asks, "Did you guys see the hail?" TOTALLY explains a lot. Cause I don't recall rain sounded that way. LOL! Good thing we didn't step out while it was hailing. Don't think it would've been pretty getting pelted by hard ice as we ran to the car.

Happy Birthday Older Bro!

Today's my older brother's birthday, which also happens to land on President's day! Since Jeric had to go to an in-service, I went by myself to meet up with my parents, my brother and Ivon. My little brother couldn't make it either, he was super sore and tired cause he went hiking yesterday.

Anyhow, we ate at Capital Seafood. It was dim sum, so we ordered a few items off the cart. But we also ordered some delicious items off the menu.

Girly Fun Time

We planned another girly outing. Gen needed to stop by Ulta to pick up some girly products. So me and Jenn went with. I originally planned on not buying anything since I bought nail polish and hair products last time. But those kinds plans never pan out right. Hahaha. I left the store with a tube of Revlon's Lip Butter and an EOS balm in strawberry flavor!

Afterwards, we headed out for lunch. Karen was able to meet up with us. Joan and Nina had prior engagement so they couldn't come out. Bummer. Next time gals! Anyhow, we all ended up deciding to eat at club guppies. At least it's for lunch on a Sunday, so the music wont be blasting our ear drums off. We all ordered our own plates this time instead of ordering a large platter of fried rice. I got the pork chop with rice, Gen and Jenn got the fried chicken with rice and Karen got her signature chicken wings.

Through all our chit chat, I totally forgot to snap a photo! Doh!

I guess this will do. This is my new smash journal! Basically it's a cross between scrapbooking and journaling. They had one totally pre-made at Michaels, but it was pretty pricy. So I decided to buy a blank slate journal that was made from recycled paper. So it has that nice brown color to it and really nice texture. Then, I saw these cute stacks at target! Totally awesome cards I can stick in for lists, notes, headings, and what not. They also had this cute date stamp that also had cute words to stamp with it! Love it! Can't wait to start filling this book up!

Happy Birthday Kristen!

Today we spent the entire day at Papa and Mama's house for Kristen's birthday!

There was plenty of food, so we sat around eating and chatting. And then there was the All-Star game, so we watched that for the rest of the day.

We had major bets on the All-Star games. First was skills. Neither of our picks made it, so that bet was null. Jeric picked Tony Parker (last year's winner) and I chose Jeremy Lin cause I didn't know anyone else. LOL. Both were West player, so there was a 66% chance one of our guys would make it to final round. But nope, was totally the 3rd guy that made it.. Damian Lillard (some rookie). LOL. Next was the three-point shoot out. I didn't really know who to pick, and Jeric did make a suggestion, he said Kyre Irving was good. So I chose him. While Jeric picked Stephen Curry. Jeric's pick didn't make it out of round 1 and my pick totally won! Hahaha. Lastly was the slam dunk contest. I believe Jeric picked Kennith Faried. And once again, I had no idea who to pick. This time though, I didn't go with Jeric's pick. I don't even remember who I picked. Needless to say, neither of our picks made it to the finals. But then, we took a bet on the final two. Hahaha. I picked Ross and Jeric picked Evans. I thought Evans was actually gonna win with his final dunks because he totally dunked over a poster of him dunking and then signed it. And since it was popularity vote by the masses, it seemed more likely to win over Terrance Ross' dunks. But, with 58% of the votes, Terrance Ross wins! Hahaha.

We also bet on total points of East versus West! Mwahaha. I totally whooped butt. I picked West! \x/estSide! Hahaha. Man, Jeric ended up with a mother load of DDD's. Like 17 days! Hahaha. Woohoo!

That was pretty much our day!

I also wore my first pair of Kobe's today! Love 'em with shorts. Perfect for hot days!

Girly Lunch Date

Met up with the girls for lunch today. We decided on some baby guppies! We sat outside because it was such a beautiful day. And being stuck in an office with no windows is so blah!

On my way there, while stopped at the light off of the south st exit from the 605, I totally saw the car in front of me hand a box of Little Caesar's ready hot pizza to a bum! And a little bit of cash! That was super generous and I could tell the bum appreciated it so much.

For lunch.. we ordered the shrimp fried rice and all got boba milk teas!

I also ordered kimchee fried rice for home and for the office. We totally chatted outside for awhile and time flew by so fast! Booo! So I had to get back to work.

And then on the way back, there was a major freaking accident on the 91 and I was at a dead stop on the ramp from the 605. So there was no way for me to even re-route myself. I was sitting there for a good 5-10 minutes and took a snapshot to sent to Gen and Jenn, which I totally did. And then I was going to send a vid to Jeric, but as I was video taping, a cop totally rolled by and I purposely dropped the phone. Hahaha. The cop didn't see me, luckily. Guess he was too preoccupied with the mess that lay ahead.

Sooo, that totally made me even later from my lunch break! Oh well! Feels good to get out of the office!

Also, during lunch, Jeric called me and asked if I totally got a pic of these Kobe's for me. They were going for $40!! What a steal! So, even without a pic, I told him, yes, get 'em! Hahaha. YEY!

Ahh, work on vday.. with work the next day.. bummer.

Anyways, Jeric didn't have work until 2 today and he was totally up when I left for work. So while I slaved away at work, he actually went to Fullerton to drop off a resume. He's been on the search for a new job lately.

He messaged me around 11ish with info on filling out an app for this office position at his current company. So I went to work. (I always help him fill out apps and send in resumes :D) I messaged him to call me though because some of the q's needed more explanation and its easier than messaging back and forth. He messaged a few back that I already had asked him. And then, as I was typing away, the door opens to our office.. and there stands Jeric!! With a bouquet of red roses and food. But, not just any food. He brought short rib tacos and a burrito from the Kogi food truck!! He's the bestest! :D

He then took over my desk. Hahaha. And finished up the application. He told me to go ahead an start eating before it gets cold. :D So I did! And boy was it so derishish! He finished his application and then joined me for the rest of our lunch. And then he had to go to work. Booo work sucks! See ya later cacahead!

After work we originally planned on making our own crab. But then we got sorta lazy. Plus making food and then eating food was always a tad hard because the doggies come bug us as they beg for scraps. Hahaha. So, instead, we decided to go out to eat. At first, we were thinking Red Lobster since it would satisfy my crab craving. Crab.. Lobster.. same diff! Ya know?! LOL! But then, when I called, I was told that it would be an hour and a half of a wait! AND it would cost us like $30+ each! Oh heck no!

Jeric asked, what about Lazy Dog Cafe, and then Derp can join us! I was totally down for that! So off to Lazy Dog Cafe. When we got there, Jeric dropped me off, just in case the wait was long. But nope! 20-30 minute wait! Sweet! And it wasn't too cold so sitting outside with Derp was definitely not a problem. It was actually a really nice night.

We were both famished, so we totally ordered an appetizer. We ordered the calamari totally thinking of the normal calamari appetizer. You know.. deep fried with marina sauce on the side. But nope, the dish totally had orange chicken style calamari on top of white steamed rice! Whaaaaa? Seriously, this thing was like a meal in itself! We both totally scarfed it down too. So we were about close to being satisfied for dinner, but totally still had our meals on the way! Hahaha.

For our meals, Jeric stuck with his fav BBQ Pizza and I tried something new. Jeric actually pointed it out to me while we perused the menu as we waited for our seats. It was lamb. And oh my goodnesh! The lamb was oh sooo tender! Fell right off the bone! It was the best lamb I'd ever tried. Not gamy at all.

Derp had a few pieces of the chicken off of Jeric's pizza. He even got to try my lamb. Hahaha. Happy vday!! <3

When I Can't Eat Meat, the More I Want Meat!

I totally forgot today was Ash Wednesday and I already planned to eat either a leftover turkey sub from Subway or bola bola siopao. So you could imagine how bummed I was when I remembered I couldn't eat meat today. And normally, I'd be fine without eating meat. I could always find something else to eat. But because I CAN'T have meat, I really really reaaaaally WANT meat.

Oh well, I guess I'll stick to my yogurt and granola for bfast/snacks and then for lunch head out and get something. I ended up buying 2 spicy jack quesadillas from Del Taco. Hahaha. That's because I went galavanting for my lunch break. I took a trip to this cute Sanrio type of shop called Morning Glory to buy a notebook that I planned on using as my Smash Journal! And then I was in search for a Wescom ATM so I can deposit my paycheck. Of course, that was total fail. I found one nearby, BUTTTTT, it was inside of the CareMore building and the Security Guard in the lobby was like, "Oh, that's only for employees." FAIL!

BTW, that was the 2nd fail. Yesterday, I attempted to find an ATM that was supposedly in a plaza across the street from where I work, but looks like whatever building held the ATM no longer exists! SMH

Anyways, that was me galavanting for lunch and then having to rush and buy quesadillas at Del Taco and eat at my desk. Hahaha.

After work, me and Jeric went to get our free orders of the tangy shrimp at Panda Express. We were also supposed to try and hit the gym today so we can push for 3 times a week, but with it being Ash Wednesday, it just wasn't gonna happen.

Just Another Day At the Gym

Nothing new today. Just our normal Tuesday at the gym. I did increase my minutes on stairs at least.

Jeric played basketball again for cardio. He was actually still playing when I finished so I got to watch. Seems frustrating playing with random people. There were so many instances where Jeric was wide freaking open, but they don't pass him the ball. It's cause his team plays together and he's just a pick-up player. But still! He's WIDE OPEN!! At least he hit the game winner, which was a purty 3 point swish! He played another game after that since they won. But the new team they played against had a few tall black guys. Totally had the advantage. And they were pretty good also. Still, they hung in there for a good game. But sadly, they lost!

After the game ended. Jeric shot a half court shot for fun and it totally went in. And when he got to me, he asked me if I wanted to take a bet on another half court shot. I probably should've, since he just hit one, but I didn't. He did ask again, but this time, just a 3 pointer. I totally should've taken the half court shot instead, but I took this bet. Hahaha. Luckily it paid off! 5 DDD's down to 2! Woot. And this time, I definitely learned to quit while I was ahead and didn't take another bet.

Now it was time to do abs, and that was it. Woohoo! I love abs week. We got home and after I showered. I tried reading my book for class, but totally had droopy eyes, so I knocked out!

Jeric was super hungry when I got home. I wasn't too hungry though, so we didn't go out to eat anywhere. I was also way too lazy for the gym. After chores and such, I finally worked up an appetite and Jeric totally suggested loco moco.

He found some gravy, made burgers out of our cabbage roll mix, and fried up some eggs.

A Super Full Day

Jeric went to play basketball this morning and normally I just end up sleeping in. But not today. The M&M donuts seemed to want out of my body. So it woke me up twice! Hahaha. After the second time, I noticed Derp needed to use the bathroom, so I took him outside. After that, there was no going back to sleep. So I did some chores. I had soo much laundry to do, plus I had to finish 3 programming projects for class.

First, clean the bed. While I cleaned the bed though. Silly Derp was trying to attack the bed sheets while I was shaking them out and while doing so he totally freaking snotted on my leg! Hahaha. GROSS!

Anyhow, I seriously had so much laundry. I had 5 bags to fold plus 3 more loads. I sort of let it build up. Anyhow, I folded the bulk of the clothes yesterday. I finished the 3 new loads today. Woot, hamper cleared, clothes put away. Now onto homework.

I was midway through the first programming project when Jeric got home. I asked if he wanted to go to Oh Hello Friend and he was way willing. So he ate and then showered while I got as far as I could with homework.

But then, there was a Laker game on vs Miami and it was like a 1 point game half way through the third. So first things first, we bet! Hahaha. Of course, stupid Lakers decide to totally freaking disappoint me. FUUUUUUUU, 7 DDD's!

Finally, we head over to Oh Hello Friend. I was supposed to go with the girls sometime in a few weeks, but I just couldn't wait. I want to see cute things and I want new pens!!

Didn't find a lot of things that I had to have, but I did find a cute passport cover. So I bought that and 3 new pens!

Jeric was still hungry so we hit up In-N-Out. I was pretty hungry too. So he got his double double, I got my cheeseburger and then fries and a drink! Yumms!

We were supposed to go to Disneyland and have a Toy Story battle, but it was way way too cold and windy. So back home we went. I spent the rest of the day doing homework and Jeric watched some TV.

Finally Got To Try M&M's Blueberry Donut

After our super filled day, I started homework and Jeric totally fell asleep. Anyhow, he woke up at around 10, and I totally asked if he wanted to go with me and wait for some Blueberry Donuts at M&M Donut! This is seriously the 4th attempt!

The first attempt, we totally didn't check when they opened, the second attempt had us standing in line for 15 min and just leaving, the third attempt was earlier this morning before Derp's dog beach park visit. They were totally out of blueberry donuts (no wonder there was no line).

So, here we are at 10:20pm.. waiting in the car, cause it is way to cold to wait outside. The drive-thru line was actually pretty long! But some reviews say that drive-thru is faster than the standing line. But dang, we moved up one car like every 15 min! Yikes!

Derp was with us in the car because Jeric figured he needed entertainment. I also watched some Hulu off my phone, but I forgot my charger! So I barely got to watch 15 minutes. Anyhow, Derp was hilarious in the car. Since it was freezing cold, I HAD to have the heater on. But poor Derp can't stand the heat. He loves the cold! So Jeric had the window rolled down for him. And he's never done this before, but he totally had his paws out the window! And he wanted out soo badly! Hahaha. But bad mommy and daddy didn't bring your leash!


What's even funnier, is he totally started whining and barking, but his whines.. totally a chewbacca!


Such a silly boy!

Back to the donuts! So we totally waited for 2 hours!! And I totally wiped out Jeric's last 5 DDD days because he waited with me and was totally bored out of his mind. Hahaha. Well, we got our donuts! And totally ordered an extra dozen because 2 donuts is not worth that wait. Well, a dozen & 2 isn't either. But at least it'll make it count for something! And so we tried the donuts. I mean, yes, it was delicious. But worth 2 hours, hell no! Hahaha, Jeric said it was a total waste of

his time and he'd take the 5 DDD days over those 2 hours any day. LOL. Sorry buddy, but thanks for waiting with me!

Derp's Saturday Fun!

So, every Saturday or Sunday we try to take Derp out for some fun. Usually the dog park so he can play with playful doggies. Lately it's been the dog beach because it's just so much better. There's sand and ocean instead of dirt and trees. The fresh ocean air is also nice, especially since the doggies will pee and poop everywhere. Hahaha.

Today, we took Derp there again. He actually didn't get that dirty this time and we were way more prepared. We brought a towel in case he ran into the water, his wipes, and a bowl and water. So we were able to wipe him down after his day at the beach.

After the beach, we took Derp home and then ate bfast. Good ol' left over kimlo! And after showers, we headed to get my eyebrows waxed (I was in desperate need of a cleaning). And then it was time for Disneyland! Of course for some Toy Story battles! Hahaha.

To our surprise, they were doing this huge thing for Chinese New Year! They decked out a strip in California Adventure and even had Mickey dressed in a Chinese suit. Cute! We definitely HAD to wait in line for a pic. And lucky us, while waiting in line, Mulan and Mushu came for pictures too. It wasn't even a separate line. We got to take pics with them on the way to pics with Mickey!


We rode the Little Mermaid again. Hahaha. I was looking for new things I didn't see before and there was one point where I never noticed Sebastian popping up in weirdo spots. Hahaha.

And then it was time for Toy Story! Jeric swore I would never beat him again. LOL. So he thought... He did get them 5k points. But it was just not good enough. He came soo close though, only lost by 900 points! Mwahahaha. That's one 1k target! Har har har har! Woot! 7 days of DDD for Jeric! FINALLY!

Surprise of the day? Mickey in a Chinese suit!

Roscoe's for Din Din!

We were invited out for dinner with the homies. Where at? Roscoe's! At first, I thought Jeric might say no because we're "trying" to eat healthier. Hahaha. But when I mentioned it, his answer was, "Hell Yes!" Hahaha.

Anyhow, we got there and the homies were sitting in the bar area. Not drinkin, just sitting and waiting for our number to be called. The wait time's a freaking hour! Yikes! At least we can wait sitting down because in the main lobby, it's soo packed with people standing.

Finally after an hour we were seated! Yey! FOOOD! Or so I thought. After we all ordered, it still too FOREEHHHHVEEEEEER to get our food. Hahaha. And everyone was soo starving. Some of us purposely ate a super light lunch knowing we were gonna have a heavy dinner!

When we finally got our food, you can tell we were all super hungry cause no one was talking. Hahaha. I ordered me a thigh and a waffle. Everyone else ordered either the 3 wings and waffle or the 1/4th chicken and 2 waffles. Soo yumm!

Funny thing, when I went up to pay, I totally ran into my co-worker, Ty! So random!

Afterwards, we all hung out talking a bit, but it was way cold, so we moved from in front of Roscoe's to in front of our cars. But then, the security guard said we had to leave because folks are looking for parking spots. Booo. So we said our goodbyes and headed home.

Lunch With the Girls!

Met up with the girls for lunch today. We chose Mimi's Cafe in Cerritos Town Center since we wanted to make a trip out to Ulta. Originally it was me, Gen and Jenn, but surprise surprise! Jonah made it out! YEY!

All of us, but Joan got the all you can eat soup & salad combo. Joan got a fish combo meal. I ordered me the french onion soup with a cesar salad. We also got an extra we didn't expect! The waitress asked if we wanted our soup & salad as a regular order or endless. We asked her what the price difference is and apparently, no price difference and the endless comes with a muffin! Score! All three of us chose a different muffin, so we all cut 'em up into fours and everyone got to try them all! I totally devoured the muffins. Hahaha, I was hungry. I got the cinnamon apple, Jenn got the blueberry and Gen got the carrot bran. All equally delicious. Joan said her fish was totally soft and delicious. She also got ice cream at the end, which we all had a spoon of.

Afterwards, we hit up Ulta to check out their stuff. The place has definitely evolved since I've last been. They care more higher and products now, but still keep the cheaper brands. They also rearranged the place. The register used to be right in the middle. Now it's to the left of the entrance. Anyhow, first stop was totally this little nail polish table highlighting the European Collection from O.P.I. They had this totally cute color I saw, cream! Usually those colors are too white, but this one had a nicely creamy tint to it. Hahaha, coming home with it! I did want a BB cream, but decided to hold off for now. I've been good with using nothing on my face so why go back to using stuff? Ya know? Plus it was pretty pricey. So I was just perusing the store and hanging with the gals. But then, we came across hair products and I totally remembered that I've been wanting dry shampoo for days that I don't wash my hair (heard you shouldn't wash your hair everyday. it makes it healthier). Well, my hair gets pretty oily on those days, so I needed dry shampoo to absorb that oil. I did ask the clerk, and she showed me the the good higher brand product, but then she was nice enough to share with me the off brand that was way way cheaper, which she recommends. So I picked that up as well. And then it was time to get back to work, cuz damn, it's been 2 hours! LOL. Anyhow, fun stuff gals! Always a good time!

Gymin It Up!

Another successful gym day!

I'm still on the stairs. And Jeric's still running. He was only supposed to do 2 miles, but ended up doing 3. Which was coo, cuz it pushed me to do more as well. I set myself to do 20 minutes on stairs with a break after 10, but since he kept going, I was able to add another 5 minutes! Woot. As for strength exercises, we worked on our back today. All machines. One like rows, one where it was like sit-ups but for your back! Hahaha. The last one I don't have an idea on how to describe. We also had muscle milk today. Jeric had a bottle left over in the fridge, so I got to try it before buying a large tub of the mix. Gotta say, it was delicious! And for being called muscle milk, there's no milk involved. So that's definitely good for my stomach. LOL

Drink of the day? Banana flavored muscle milk!

Jeric Found Out the Secret to the Toy Story Ride!

We went to Disney California Adventure today! This time we walked through the Grand California Adventure Hotel instead of going all the way down to the main entrance. We both seriously forgot about this entrance! So convenient!

Anyhow, since we went this way, we walked by The Little Mermaid ride and it was actually open and with only a 5 minute line! Woot! So we quickly hopped on the ride. Love the ride, if only it wasn't so short!

After that, we were headed to the Toy Story ride. Of course there's a bet involved! There's always a bet involved. Hahaha.

On the way there though, we passed California Screamin' and totally jumped on that first. I had my slouchy hat/beanie on and Jeric had one of his many snapbacks. He can actually just tighten his hat so it doesn't fly, mine, however, a different story. But I didn't bother taking it off or anything. LOL! Anyhow, we had that initial blast at the beginning and all I hear from Jeric was, "Hey, where's your hat? Is your hat gone? Where's your hat?" HAHAHA. I seriously think he asked me like 5 times! I wasn't answering him though because I was preparing myself for my scream! LOL! He was totally unprepared for that first drop! Hahaha, and I finally answered him after that first drop and totally started cracking up. And then the loopty loop came and it was kinda shaky and I swear I thought my glasses were going to fall off so I had to hold 'em against my face for awhile. Hahaha. And then the ride was over, and apparently Jeric had the same problem, he almost lost his glasses too! LOL!

Finally it was time for Toy Story! Before the actual game starts, there's a part of the ride where we can test out our guns and there were a few times where Jeric's said his gun sucked or mine was crappy. So now we said we don't agree on the bet until we check out our guns. Anyhow, this time both of our guns were solid. And we were totally neck and neck for most of ride! And then came the stage where I usually take a huge lead, which I did. It's the toy soldier stage with plates. I was feeling pretty good. And then came the alien stage and I always have a huge advantage here because I know something he doesn't. But oh man, he totally found out!! He saw where the high scores are! HAHAHA. And oh my lordy.. he whooped my butt.. soo bad too!


Dang nabbit! I just cleard DDD's a few days ago! UGH!

Accidentally Lifting Heavier Weights!

It's gym time again! Totally keeping up on our twice a week. Hopefully we can up it to three times soon.

Today, I'm still stairs. Jeric's back to running on the treadmill. No bball for him this week. For strength, we work on shoulders. We started with free weights doing shoulder presses. I on 8's, him on 40's. It starts with your arms posted like a field goal post and you lift until your arms are straight up in the air and perfectly straight. Gotta say, this was pretty tough with 8's. I didn't fail, but i was wobbly and shaky. Hahaha. Next we did this machine where you lift using your shoulders. Anyhow, when it was my time, I left Jeric to adjust my weights. Normally I do 10 lbs, which normally meant you just drop the two 5 lb bars down and don't insert the pin. Jeric did drop the two 5 lb bars down, BUT! he totally also left the pin in at 10 lbs, so I was doing 20 lbs! HA! No wonder that crap was soo hard! LOL. But I did 'em. I was struggling and Jeric totally had to spot me near the end of my reps. Haha. Oh well, at least for the most part, I did 'em until fail! Which is what you're supposed to do. Who knew I can do 20 lbs! Guess I set a new standard now. Our last workout were shoulder shrugs. For these, I also upped my weights. Since you're not really lifting the weights, it was doable. Basically all you do is hold the weights down at your side and let them hang and then just shrug your shoulders! Fun stuff!

Home-made Poke Bowl!

Jeric got home way way earlier than I did, so when I got home, I found him totally knocked out! Hahaha. So I did my thing.. got into comfy clothes and took care of the Derp zombie.

By the time I was done, Jeric half woke up and was like, "I'm hungry." Hahaha. So I suggested we make our own poke bowls. Since Jeric was dead tired I went to 99 Ranch to pick up the ingredients.

Of course, I just HAD to stop by Daiso first! Hahaha. It's like the dollar store for cute asian things! I seriously spent like a LONG time in there. Hahaha. I went in just perusing at first, but then I saw cute notebooks. And since I needed one to jot down programming stuff for class, (yah, I've been writing code and stuff on a small ass notepad) I decided to get one. I couldn't decide though. LOL. I was probably at that aisle for a good 20 minutes. Hahaha. Anyways, I came out with a plaid notebook.. and a few other trinkets.. cute white out pens, a pill box and tissues! Jeric totally was like what the heck when I showed him the tissues. Hahaha. But he doesn't get it.. the packaging was totally cute. Hahaha.

Anyways, I finally got to 99 ranch and went on the hunt for supplies. Shoyu sauce, tuna, onion, green onion, sesame seed oil, sesame seeds, garlic, ginger, and red seaweed. Unfortunately, no red seaweed. Booo, so we just had to do without that ingredient.

Anyhow, all you do is cut up the tuna into cubes, mince onions, garlic, and ginger, and just toss all the ingredients together. Jeric made it! :)


Anyhow, he totally let me off for the rest of my DDD's since I went to pick-up the stuff from the market! YEY!!

Darn You 49ers!

Today started out super lazy (maybe too lazy). I slept in until 12:30pm!! Jeric actually woke up early to play basketball at the gym with his brother and cousin. I was supposed to get up early, but I just couldn't do it. Derp was also being lazy. Hahaha. He slept with me the whole time!

Anyhow, I totally paid for sleeping in. I had so much laundry to do and my programming projects needed to be finished as well! And on top of that, I had to make some time to go to my parent's house and setup my mom's new computer. Yeeks mang!

And then, there was the Super Bowl! It was the 49ers vs the Ravens. The 49ers were favored to win, according to Jeric. And I also figured they would win based on popularity. So, we took a bet and I choose the 49ers. It was for 5 DDD's and as of today, I have 6 days left! So of course I'd take a bet that could potentially wipe out almost all my days.

Then the game started. I was of course multi-tasking.. doing homework while watching the game. After awhile, I totally gave up on the 49ers and concentrated on my homework because the niners were getting beat. It wasn't even like it was a game. The score was 21 - 6, ravens at the half. Soo freaking horrible. Not that I'm a niner fan or anything, but I don't want anymore DDD's!

Anyways, the half time show was aite. It was Beyonce. I'm sure other folks liked it, but it was just okay in my books. After the half, there was a blackout! Hahaha. I seriously think it was cuz of Beyance's half time show. Hahaha. She used a lot of special effects on stage that involved a whole lot of electricity. ROFL.

Since there was a blackout and dinner was all cooked, it was time to eat! My in-laws cooked some yummy steaks with corn and baked potatoes! Soo scrumptious. There was also super delicious fruit salad!

And then it was back to the game. Apparently the blackout did the niners good. Because they finally made it a real game! They caught up and totally had the chance to win. But unlucky me! They ended up losing in the end! ARGH! 5 more DDD's! NOOOOOOO!

I spent the rest of the night at my parent's house setting up my mom's comp and trying to finish my homework. I was totally up until 2:30am!

Bummer of the day? 49ers losing!

Finally Got Our Poke Bowl Fix

For such a long time, we've been trying to eat at this poke bowl place called North Shore Poke Co. But we always miss it because it closes at 8pm!

The funny thing is, while Derp was at the groomers, Jeric was searching for a place to eat and he found this poke bowl place. And omg, it turns out to be the exact same place we've been trying to eat at!! HAHAHAHA.

Anyhow, we ordered a large bowl each. Jeric ordered the pipeline (traditional poke) with avocado and i ordered the off the wall (chef's special poke). Both were equally delicious. Too bad it's so darn far from us!


After eating our lunch, we went to pick up Derp! And OMG! Hahaha. I asked the guy how he was and he said, "He was tough! He tried to bite me." Hahahahaha. Seriously, the guy must've done something bad because Derp never reacts to anyone like that. He's only naughty at home and mostly with me and Jeric. With everyone else or at someone else's place, he's such a goody! Oh well, as long as he didn't bite anyone and they were able to groom him well. Which they did. He smelled sooo good! And of course, he knocked out the whole way home and for most of the night.

I was also worn out, I fell asleep early! 10pm early!

Doggy Beach Park!

We woke up this morning and kinda moved slow. And then I got a text from Gen stating that her and Jenn were gonna be at DT Fullerton this morning for a shop opening. Since, me and Jeric had plans to take Derp to the dog beach (yup there's a doggy park at the beach!) we decided to stop by and say hello!

When we got there, they were both already near the front of the line. So I hung out with them while Jeric checked out this shoe shop. Jeric also came back just in time to watch Derp so that I can go with Gen and Jenn into the shop. (Yah, I totally cut in line. LOL)

The shop was totally cute! Totally vintaged out with cute things everywhere!

There were so many things I wanted to buy, but man, some of them were way over priced. So I ended up with only a cute umbrella necklace and a pen!


The line for checkout was ubber long, so me and Jeric left Fullerton kinda late and the dog beach park was all the way in Huntington! And the thing is we had Derp's grooming appointment set for 3:30pm. We totally got there at 3:00! LOL. So we only had about 20 minutes. Boooo. And the sad part, Derp was having soo much fun! Awww, sorry boy, we'll bring you back in a few weeks or a month.


As for Derp's first grooming appointment, he totally didn't like it. In fact, when we tried walking him in, he was pulling against the leash. He totally didn't wanna go in. So Jeric had to carry him in. Awwwwww. And then we had to place him in a crate and he looked soo sad. It was hard to leave him there. Poor Derp! We actually didn't quite leave right away either and were there when the guy picked up Derp from the crate and took him to the tub. So I got a few cute shots of Derp in the tub!


And then, we went to the car and were looking for a place to eat when we both totally heard Derp barking! So we looked through the windows and could totally see Derp barking at the guy! Hahahaha. Gotta say, that guy must've done something to get barked at like that.
