Girly Time

The boys made plans to watch tonight's fight at a bar. Of course leaving the girls to their own devices. Sooo, the girls figured, we can go out too! Joan was the only one that stayed home since she has kiddo duty. Me, Gen and Tola decided to head out to Elephant Bar.

They got there a bit before me and ordered drinks and some food. Tola had the appetizer platter and Gen had some din din. I ordered myself the buffalo wings.

While hanging out and chatting one of the waitresses totally dropped one of the drinks and it splattered like crazy. Weird thing though. It fell and exploded right by me, but sadly Tola was the one who got hit. And it TOTALLY got high up on the walls too! Like seriously 10 feet above Tola!!

It got all cleaned up though and we went back to eating, drinking and chatting. And not too long after, the manager finally finds out about it and comes up to our table. He apologizes (the waitresses did do this already, so it wasn't like no one did), but then he also adds that we'll be fully taken care of. I heard it and so did Tola.

Whale! That wasn't the case. And sadly, Gen and Tola ordered another drink thinking it was gonna be comped as well. Boy were we all surprised! All they comped were the two appetizers, Tola's and mine. Gen's meal didn't even get comped! And none of the drinks either. Booooo!

I didn't want alky today, but I saw them advertise their new Salted Caramel Colada! I HAD to try it. Just asked the lady to make it a non alky drink. Gotta say, it was sooo good!
