Ramen Yokocho Fest Fail

The homies were all supposed to meet up in Torrance for the Ramen Yokocho Festival. Me and Jeric headed over there around 12ish and got there close to 1. When we exited though, Mark and Jenn messaged the group that it was way too crowded so they were heading back home!

We went anyways to take a look. As we drove through the parking lot, we saw the end of the line. So we decided to drive around and follow the line. Boy-oh-freaking-boy! That line was waaaaay long! Yup, NO THANKS!! Ain't nobody got time for that!

Since we were way hungry, we decided to go look elsewhere for food. Since we wanted to try ramen, we went to Mitsuwa for Santouka Ramen. That was also a fail! The line was way long there too! It wrapped around in front and then wrapped sideways around the restaurant spot. Plus it was also cash only! Double whammo. And that was that.

We then thought about In-N-Out. So we started driving there, but then totally spotted a Flame Broiler on the way, so made a quick right into the driveway and parked! LOL!

We both ordered the chicken mini bowl. Except mine was with brown rice.

While we were eating Anthony was texting Jeric. They also left the Ramen Fest and headed somewhere else to eat. They ended up at Stacked and asked if we wanted to come by and that there's always room for dessert.

Soo true, our chicken mini bowls were good enough for hunger satisfaction, but they weren't filling.

And we headed on out to Stacked! Hahaha.

We hung out with Anthony, Karen and Reese. Reese was hilarious! He would smirk when he ate his food. And was super animated! So Cute!

Me and Jeric did order dessert. Jeric had a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. The ice cream was mocha. I had the same thing kind of. Instead of chocolate chip, it was a snicker doodle cookie. And instead of mocha, I had strawberry.

Sadly, the desserts let us down.. majorly! The cookies were way hard! And the ice cream? Nothing special.

Still, it was worth it getting to hang with the homies and little Reesy!
