Sleep Sleep and More Sleep

We left the hotel room at 5:00 in the morning and headed to the airport to catch our 7:00 am flight! Boy were we tired!

Sooo tired that we had to take a raincheck on breakfast with my fam.

The moment we got home we showered and knocked out! I guess I was way more tired though. Jeric was up at around 2:00 pm and hung out with his brothers. I went straight back to sleep. I practically just kept on sleeping and only getting up for food or the bathroom.

It was soo bad, I slept until 4:00 am the next day!!! Definitely glad we flew home instead of drove!

The Moon.. Rooftop Club

After dinner, we all headed over to Moon, which is the rooftop club at palms.

We got there just in time because everyone's on the guest list and we're free as long as we get there before 12. Whelps, we got there at 11:50! Hahaha. That's surely cutting it close.

None-the-less, we all got in for free without any hiccups. Girls also got wristbands that had 2 free drink tickets. Lovely. Sadly, I'm on antibiotics and totally can't have a lick of alky. It's coo, I'll just give Jeric a drink and then order me a soda or something.

They had a wonderful rooftop view of vegas!


We hung around the roof for awhile, but eventually we went inside to get our free drinks. After everyone got their free drinks, we went back out on the roof.

Eventually it got too smokey and I started getting a massive headache, so me and Jeric called it a night.

And that was our Vegas trip! 24 hours and done! Hahaha. Never again, that's for sure. We'll probably fly in later, around the time everyone's gonna meet up. Hahaha.

Anyhow, it was fun! Hope you had a fabulous time GEN! Happy birthday again!!!

N9NE Steakhouse

Everyone all met up for dinner for Gen's birthday bash at N9NE Steakhouse. They had really good reviews, so that's why the birthday girl chose it.


The place was nice, but dang, the music was loud! Hahaha. Like Club Guppies Loud! There were a few conversations where I just smiled and nodded because I didn't wanna say "WHAT???" for the gazillionth time.

I wasn't really craving steak, so I decided to just get an appetizer. At first I wanted scallops, but there was a chance that it might be a tad raw and raw hasn't done my stomach well the past few times. So I decided I'd rather not risk it today. Instead I opted for the crab cake.


Jeric ended up sharing the Ribeye for Two meal with Mike.


The crab cake wasn't too bad, but pretty pricy for an appetizer. And apparently the ribeye was below par as well. Gotta try that other steak spot that Alex & Gen say is real good!

24 Hour Vegas Birthday Trip

When we got to Vegas, the first thing we did was grab food because we were both starving. And sadly, the flight was so fast and the crew seemed unprepared that they only served half the plane drinks and even then, they immediately had to down the drinks because they were picking them up for trash. Booo. No snacks and we were the unlucky half of the plane with no drinks as well! We flew Southwest in case you wanted to know.

Anyhow, we got to Vegas, picked up our rental and headed straight for Cosmopolitan for some Wicked Spoon Buffet!

We both got a bunch of little platters that filled our first plate, dropped them off at the table and then went out for another plate full.

After we were absolutely stuffed we had no idea what to do yet because everyone else was still sleeping or making their way to Vegas.

So, we hit the mall! Hahaha. Yup! And not like Forum Shops or anything, an actual little mall off the strip. And then when we were bored with that, we checked out Target! Eventually we actually made our way to the Forum Shops.

I got kinda hungry again, so we hit up McDonad's. That's when Gen texted me. Hahaha. She had a super awesome time last night, but paid for it this morning!

It was about time to start getting ready too. So we headed out to their hotel room and hung out for a bit and then got ready for dinner.

Waaay Too Early In the Morning

We slept kinda late last night because we had to pack and get ready for Vegas. Like at 12ish and we totally had to wake up at 4am!

Derpson woke up too of course because of all the hustle and bustle as we got ready. Silly boy though, he was falling asleep while I was getting ready and Jeric was showering. Hahahaha.

Food Truck Fridays

It's Friday again, and with that comes Food Truck Fridays at the Truck Squad event.

Jeric wanted something he knew was good, so he got the Cowgirl burger from the Sexy Burger Truck.


I, on the other hand, kinda wanted to try something new. So, I got me the Nemesis corndog from The Viking Truck.


The Cowgirl burger was as good as it always was and that Nemesis corndog was waaay tasty! The breading around the sausage was delicious and had a tad of sweetness.

Fruit Splurge

I've been craving fruits for awhile now and finally took a trip to the supermarket to grab me some. I grabbed some oranges, kiwis, plums, and nectarines.


Of course, I got carried away with cutting them and making a pretty fruit platter! So pretty, it kinda looks like a flower, no?

Fall TV is BACK!

Fall TV just started coming back!! I'm such a TV addict. LOL! But I'm sooo happy my shows are returning!

Watching yesterday's premiere of Grey's Anatomy.. 2 episodes!!


and yesterday's premiere of Nashville too!


Also gonna catch up on Downton Abbey and Royal Pains'. Although Royal Pains' isn't a fall show, just wasn't able to keep up with it over the summer cause it was pulled of hulu. Boooo! It's fine though, there's always a way!!

Back to zoning out on the tele!

Just the Derpson Today.. and a Delicious Snack!

Didn't do much today. Seriously. I slept soooo much! Hahaha.

I do have some funny footage though! Derp tilting his head as Jeric kills cows in GTA V. Hahaha. Cutest thing EVER!

Donut Heaven

Since we were might close to Donuttery, we couldn't resist a stop there. And the, of course, we couldn't resist ordering a dozen!


My fav is the Strawberry Strawberry Frosted.. sooo guuuuwwwd!

Ramen Time!

After Disneyland we were both hungry. Jeric didn't want chicken, so we were thinking of where to eat and he came up with the ramen place in Fountain Valley.. Shin Sen Gumi, Jeric's fav.

Last time when we ate at Santouka, I thought that both spots were about equally delicious. But I also haven't had Shin Sen Gumi in years.

We both ordered the large bowl. The only difference was that I added egg. Just the regular egg though, not the poached one. Next time I think I'm gonna order it with a poached egg.

Jeric totally killed his.. as for me, I only ate half. I'll probably eat the other half later tonight. Hahaha. The broth was waaaay good. Sorry Santouka lovers! I'd have to change my opinion. Shin Sen Gumi is waaaay better! Hahaha. I can down the soup. Santouka was just waaaay too salty.

Just Another Day At Disney

Another fun trip to Disneyland. I'm gonna be super sad when our pass expires. Anyway, it was a chill trip. Just took some pretty pictures and then rode Haunted Mansion - Nightmare Before Christmas.

We ended it with another pic in front of the ginormous pumpkin.. except this one is when it's lit, which is waaay cuter.

Service Engine Light!

Not too long ago, right when the BMW's warranty expired the service engine light popped up. Luckily, Shelly BMW was nice enough to service the car under warranty still.

Anyhow, it's only been about seven months and the damn light showed up again! Jeric checked the onboard system and it said everything was okay. Ugh. I called Shelly and luckily they said that if it's the same problem we had back in February it'll be fixed free since it's warrantied for 2 years. And they said they'd even diagnose the issue for free. Phew.

So here I am.. dropping off the car for service. While I wait, I might as well help myself to their free snacks!


Got a bag of the Knott's shortbread cookies for me, a bag for Jeric and the Nature Valley peanut butter oatmeal bar for Jeric too.

After snacking and waiting for about 20 minutes, I finally got the car setup for servicing. The diagnostics might take an hour or longer, so they gave me a loaner and said they'd call me once they find out what's wrong. I sure hope it's the same prob as before!

The loaner was a pretty red version of our car, but the 2013 model of course.

Late Night Cravings

Jeric went with his brothers and Patrick to McDonalds. He was getting a McFlurry and asked if I wanted anything. So I asked him for an apple pie! YUM!

When he got back he gave me half his McFlurry cause he was tired of it. Hahahaha. I ate half of what he gave me and also got tired of it, but he didn't want it back. So I ate it anyways. Yikes. LOL. Its a good thing I worked out earlier!

Chill Kinda Day

Woke up early as hell today. Definitely not the ush. I even woke up before Jeric! And he has work! LOL.

Since I was up early, I had some hearty oatmeal for bfast and took care of Sir Derpson. I was able to take care of some errands too.

Then it was GTA V time. HAHAHA. I felt sleepy around noon, but got stuck on a mission and didn't want to restart. Soo, I ended up playing until 2ish and then it was nappy time!

Ended up sleeping until Jeric got home from work. Then I had to get ready and head on out to Signal Hill for some Barre Fitness. I was a few minutes late though, damn traffic. Still, I signed up for the class, so they can't turn me away.

There were a ton of girls for today's class. These Tuesday classes are starting to get way crowded. Thirteen girls! Yikes! Since it was cramped, the instructor had to modify some of the exercises since room was limited. Still, the workouts worked and I felt the burn.

Meanwhile, Jeric was out with friends for dinner. He ate at BJ's at the block.

I got home before he did, so of course, back to GTA V! The Derpson was enjoying me play too. Hahaha. I love when he watches me play or watches TV. It's just too CUTE!


Not to long after, Jeric came home and he brought me BBQ Chicken Pizza! YUMMM! He also asked if I wanted a pazookie, but I declined. It's not good if it's not fresh. Plus the ice cream might melt.

Ramen Too Salty

After selling Jeric's last pair of extra Jordan's, we were hungry. We were in Costa Mesa, so I checked yelp out. I checked my bookmarks and remembered there was a Santouka Ramen here.

We got to Mitsuwa and made our way to Santouka. Jeric was checking out the menu for a bit.


And then we ordered and got our ramen!


I orderd Shio Ramen


And Jeric ordered Shoyu Ramen


Both were delicious and full of flavor. But in the end, the broth was waaay too salty. I didn't mind it too much, but I didn't drink all of the soup. Jeric didn't like it because it was too salty. He likes Shin-Sen-Gumi much more. Oh well, at least he tried it!

Satisfying the Hunger

After Disneyland, we made our way to Taquera De Anda to satisfy our hunger.

Jeric ordered his carne asada burrito..


And I ordered two al pastor tacos.


YUMM!

Halloween Time At Disneyland

We went to Disneyland today to check out all the new Halloween Deco. Most of the deco's still the same.

The entrance still has the ginormous pumpkin figures of the fab five.


There's also the same deco around the park, like for the lamp posts and buildings.


And of course, the gigantic pumpkin in the middle of Main Street is also still the same.


They still had the disney carved pumpkins around the walt statue too.


They even had plants that were themed with halloween colors!


What's new? The beginning of Haunted Mansion's Nightmare Before Christmas! In the stretching room, the intro is brand new! And there were some minor design changes around the inside which pay tribute to it being the 13th season!



Another new thing? The Halloween Carnival At the Big Thunder Ranch. They had the same deco as before where the animals are, but then, there's a whole new area where bands play. It's the same area where they had the Character Event, "Character Fan Days", where they brought out all the Disney characters and even some we've never seen before.

Back to the Halloween Carnival. So the place was all decked out and they had some cute games, like throw the rope around the witch hat (horse shoe type of game), get your fortune read, which we both tried..


Jeric's fortune read something about a spider spinning a magical web. Hahaha.

There was a tent where they conjured up a villain for you. We didn't do that one though because the line was waaay too long and we were hungry.

We did get a picture with witch Minnie and skeleton Goofy though!



Sadly, dracula Mickey was totally ignoring people for pictures. He was stalling on purpose by joking around with the cast members and with Minnie. It was cute though, seeing Mickey and Minnie joke around..


We didn't check out anything else and didn't even make it to California Adventure, but what we saw so far was pretty cool!
