Family Game Night

It's family game night again!

First up? Settlers of Catan of course! Hahaha. This time, it was just three of us, Chris went swimming with sharks, so he couldn't join us.

I think it's more crazy when there's 4 of us, like it's harder. Hahaha. Still, I did not win. And the funny thing is, Ivon won, but didn't know she won. And so it was Brian's turn when she found out she won, and technically by the rules, she can't claim her win until it's her turn again. So we were messing around and did everything we can to try and take her win away and in doing so, Brian bought a development card and that was his winner! Hahaha. But that would be really mean, LOL! So, really, Ivon won. Hahahaha.

After that, we moved onto a new game... Monopoly!

This Monopoly is a little bit different. They added an extra land for ever color set and then skyscrapers! And then, there's a special dice, with a bus for bus passes, or a man, that can totally help you out at the beginning, but then kill you later, once all land has been bought.

Anyhow, I totally started out awesomely! I was the first to own all of one color, which allowed me to build skyscrapers first!

But, they were in the poorest area AND were the poorest land! It was the purples! Hahaha.

I did have 3 out of the 4 green lands, and could've build some hotels, but I was tapped out of mula! Boooo!

In the end, I kept landing on others' hotels and kept paying and eventually, I ran out of ALL my money! Booooo!

The worst part of everything was that their central air conditioner was broken.. *womp womp womp* So we were trying to stay cool with a portable unit, but the living room was too open and connected to the dining room and kitchen, so it didn't cool off the area well enough.

Oh well, fun times guys!

Barre Fitness With the Girls

Some of us girls purchased this groupon deal for Fembody Fitness. It comes with 10 classes of our choosing that we need to use within a few months and only for $39, which is waaaaaay cheap!

Today is the first day for me and Gail. Gen's been to a class already last Tuesday with Jonah. Although, that was a regular Barre class and today's is vertical barre.

They have barre classes, pole, and aerial.. yah, we're sticking to barre! Hahaha.

The only thing that sucked, was the class being early in the morning on a Saturday! Hahaha. And I seriously was going to sleep early, buuuuut, I drank my leftover Valencia Orange drink and yah, that has CAFFEINE! So I sorta woke up late. Yeeeesh!

I got to class just in time! Sort of. Hahaha. I got there mid beginning workout.

The workouts weren't bad at all. I did pretty good throughout all of them. The only one that sorta kicked my butt where the thigh workouts. Hahaha. No breaks here! I did take a few breathers, but hell, they were much needed. My thighs were on fiyaaaa! Hahaha.

Love the classes! I wish they weren't so damn expensive! Cause I'd totally keep going to them with the girls!

Afterwards, we headed to Panera Bread for some bfast! I made sure to eat good and orderd me a Fuji Apple Salad and just half, cuz a whole would be too much.


That was my first time having that salad, and dang, it was good! I love the apple chip things in it!

Food Truck Fridays! (Truck Squad)

It's cheat day Friday! Hahaha. Of course, that's because of the Truck Squad Food Truck Event every Friday in Fullerton.

This time we brought Mom Samoza along with us!

I also did research beforehand. Checked out their FB site to see which trucks were out tonight. And then yelped them all to see which would be our best bet.

We went there thinking of Poutine fries from California Grill Truck, but sadly it wasn't on the menu. We walked around a bit, and I noticed that not all trucks were listed on the FB site. There were some re-occurring ones from before and then some new ones as well.

Mom picked out something from Ragin Cajun. While she was deciding, the guy was nice enough to give us a sample of both their Chicken & Sausage Bisque and their Gumbolaya. The Chicken & Sausage Bisque.. DEEEE-LISH! The Gumbolaya was alright.

Mom ended up ordering a combo with the half-and-half po'boy (shrimp & catfish) with the chicken and sausage bisque.

Meanwhile, Jeric was perusing the trucks. This time it was he who would pick out the dish because I failed the last time. Hahaha.

He ended up ordering the Bulgogi Fries from the California Grill Truck.


We all also wanted some dessert, so we picked out a Strawberry Nutella Cream Puff from the Bakery Truck.


All the food was delicious! Next time, gotta bring folding chairs and get there a little bit earlier! :)

Hot Hot Day

I had a late start today. Didn't wake up until 12. Probably because my body is super sore from the workouts. I literally felt like I couldn't move when I woke up. Hahaha. Love/hate that feeling.

Anyhow, I finished up the rest of our laundry and just hung out a bit. But it got way hot.. we're talking 99 degrees hot, so I decided to head out to Starbucks and work. Which was such a great idea! So, I made sure Derp had plenty of ice in his water and then headed out!

While I was there, I wanted one of their refreshers. Sadly they had no lemonade, so I had to try their Valencia Orange, which was actually a coffee (weird, it doesn't resemble coffee one bit to me). It was good, but about halfway through, the orange started to give off too much bitterness.

When I got home, I had Jeric try the drink, he did not like it. Hahaha. Yah, definitely not gonna order that one again.

PS, I totally can't wait for this crappy heat wave to go the hell away!

Disney Bets!

Here we are at good ol' Disney again. This time, strictly for bets! Hahaha.

First up, Buzz. And OMG! I was totally whooping butt at first! And then Jeric caught up and near the end, he decided to announce (all loudly, mind you) that he was now winning! Tactics! Smart move because it worked! I became flustered and panicked.. and.. LOST! GRRRRRRR!

But... I got him back you see. At Toy Story!!

My Thursday

Did a bunch of chores today. Started laundry, cleaned up our room, and changed our sheets. I also took some time for some JavaScript lessons again.

I started the day out right though. With a freaking delicious meal! Hahaha. Made me some chicken sliders!


Then, after deciding to do something different. I thought of the new scarf I bought from H&M and of this thing I saw on Pinterest a few weeks back. It had all these different things you can do with scarves. And one of them, was turning them into a bag without ruining the scarf, cutting it, or sewing it.

So, I looked up tutorials and TADA!

Instant Scarf Bag! Great way to get a cute little bag that can go with your outfit or just add to it! Love it!

Bored Derpson

While hanging early this morning watching tv, and working on some JavaScript lessons.. Derpson decides to just stare at me! Hahaha. I believe this silly boy was bored out of his mind!

He stared at me for like 10 freaking minutes! Hahaha.

Gotta love his squish face look though!

Healthy Din Din

Been eating healthy again. This time chef Jeric broiled chicken breast after seasoning it with garlic & herb seasoning from Mrs Dash. We also added some brown rice, cherry tomatoes, and grilled sweet yam.

Definitely a great post-workout meal! Healthy, lean and full of protein!

Disney Days

Another lovely day at Disneyland!

This time we started off with some lovely kiddy rides! What we noticed too was that the park was way empty. Know why? Cause school is freaking back in sesh! HORRAY!

We rode Mr Toad's Wild Ride and then Peter Pan.

Then of course, some Buzz Lightyear!

We played Toy Story also! And yup, I lost there too. I don't have the pictures from it though. Bummer.

So yup! I now have 83 freaking Derp Doodie Duty Days. :(

Gym Time

We've still been keeping up with our gym time. Although now-a-days we workout separately. I stick to my p90x and Jeric sticks to his celebrity workouts.

I'm trying to up my weights, but it is tough. Normally I lift 10 pound free weights and throw in the 12 pounds for certain exercises. Today, I tried using 12 pounds for most and 15 pounds for some. It did work a bit, but I found myself doing way less with the 15's. They were effing heavy! Hahaha. Oh well, being able to do the bulk with 12's... still a major improvement.

Family Game Night

After hanging with the girls, I met up with the rest of my family over at Brian and Ivon's for family game night!

The Susatio's and Kansaku's were also there, but they didn't stay long. They just stayed for dinner and then headed out because little Sean was starting to get tired.

Of course, we proceeded with our game night.

Settlers of CATAN!!

At first, Chris had a massive freaking lead! And sadly for Brian and Ivon, they kinda blocked each other so it was rough for them. So, us three worked against Chris and took him down. But then, I started leading! And I guess I grew way too fast because then the heat shifted towards me! Hahaha. And the three of them took me down! And in the end, Chris ended up winning.

My parents tried to follow along and my dad got the gist of it, so maybe when we get the expansion, he'll join!

Girly Date

Most of the girls couldn't make this one.. so it was just me, Jenn and Gen. We met up at Edward's in Cerritos Town Center to catch Mortal Instruments - City of Bones.

The movie was meh. Still way better than Twilight though. But what can you expect? It's a teenie bopper movie. So, of course, it wont have thee best acting and a lot of it will be cheeseball. Still though, I wasn't disappointed. I thought they did a great job adapting from the book.

After our movie, we hung out at Ulta for awhile, but none of us found anything there.

Then we had lunch at Stacked!

Me and Gen got burgers and Jenn got the pasta, which I tried. It was pretty good for mac n cheese! Really really good actually. I may order that for myself one day.

When we were all stuffed from lunch, we ended our day at Sephora, which was awesome cause they had a deal for OPI nail polish. Either 3 for $10 or half off. I ended up buying break a leg-warmer, which is my fav color now!

Late Night Cravings!

We were super hungry really late.. and the only good thing open, Taqueria De Anda!

I wanted the tacos at first, but EVERY TIME.. I end up with the burrito. What can I say? More bang for your buck!

And I'm glad I got the burrito because I killed it!

Yogurtland Freebie

Saw a deal for yogurtland recently for their new flavor. We basically get to get 5oz of the free flavor with any toppings for FREE!

Me and Jeric headed over there today and each got ourselves a free serving.

The free flavor was Cactus Berry Tart and we both added the popping boba. Jeric only got mango, but I opted for mango and strawberry. And as far as measuring 5oz, Jeric was slightly under and I was slightly over, still, either way, $Free.99!

Soo Many Food Trucks.. Too Many Choices!

So Jeric was mighty hungry after work today and I was just hungry enough to want to grab a bite somewhere.

After finishing up all the images for Kate, we searched and searched for either deals or some place new. What we ended up finding, was the White Rabbit Truck posting out in Fullerton! Not exactly a new spot, but, we wanted to try something new.. like the chicken adobo.

Well, when we got there, we got waaay more than we bargained for. Hahaha. There was a plethora of food trucks!! It was even a bit overwhelming! We walked around and were like.. holy cow, what to eat! SOOO MANY CHOICES!! AHHHH!

We actually got there just in time too. All the trucks close at 9:00 PM and we got there by 8:30 PM! Hahaha.

As for the choices.. there are Fresh Fries, Waffles de Liege, The Funky Garlic Junkies, White Rabbit, Kala, Bakery Truck, Golden State of Mind, Chomp Chomp Nation, Piaggio, Komodo, Tropical Shave Ice, and The Lime Truck.

We ended up grabbing a waffle dish from Waffles de Liege..

and ooey gooey nachos from Kala Truck.

The waffles were very delicious. Reminded us of the waffles we got in Belgium. As for the nachos? A total waste. Gahhh. Kinda like nachos from Taco Bell. Bleh.

Game of Thrones.. Addcited!

My brothers told me about Game of Thrones. And since I finally caught up on Teen Wolf, I had to find me a new show!

So today I start! I needed some entertainment anyways, while I help Jeric's boss, Kate, with some web stuff.

I must say, it's a pretty good show.. and I am now addicted. How addicted you ask? I finished the entire first season in one day! Holy cow!

Only 10 episodes, but still pretty crazy, eh?

The show.. it's quite graphic! But seems about right as far as depicting close to true nature during those times anyhow.

As for work.. spreadsheets and photoshop..

I finished my job too! Woot! I hope that she loves my work and keeps me busy. And then hopefully, it turn into something more! Which I really hope it does. She also seems to really love my work ethic already. So, that's definitely a good thing!

Costco Hot Dogs

Had some din din from Costco today! We always love getting their hot dogs. And even though these pictures don't make them look that appetizing, they are actually our most favorite hot dogs!

I eat them plain, while Jeric loads his with onions. And of course, can't beat the deal! $1.50 for a hot dog and a drink!


Afterwards, we still hit up the gym! We both got our three days in and I think I've pushed myself a little further this week! My body is way more sore! Hahaha. Whatever works! B2A!

The Tower of Terror

It's been awhile since we've ridden this.. so here goes!

I go every time now. Hahaha. I used to make excuses or just tell Jeric I don't want to ride it, but not anymore! I suck it up now. Hahaha. And I do love the ride (and totally hate it at the same time)!

Scratch and Sniff

While working on stuff this morning, I got to watch Derpson (which is like my everyday now that I'm unemployed).

Today was exceptionally funny because he was scratching his bed.. apparently because the bone was near the dresser? Or maybe not. Not too sure, but he has done it before. Scratched the bone so that it moved away from the dresser. Of course, this is completely different and he scratched and scratched just near the bone.

Anyhow, the funniest part? The first time he smashed his face into the floor.. I guess to get a good whiff? Who knows. It actually looks like he got frustrated and just said, "To Hell With This!" Hahahaha.

Stuck On Pinterest

I get these weekly notifications from Pinterest that show me some new boards. And today, there was one all about food! Hahaha. So I got totally stuck and started looking up delicious treats and delicious dishes that I wanna try to make someday!

I wanted to pin EVERYTHING off that board! Hahaha. I ended up following the board too, but I never really check out feeds much so I'd probably not see any of the new stuff.

Zombie Apocalypse Ready!

Jeric went to WWE Summerslam with his brothers today. And my brother's asked if I wanted to go clay shooting with a shotgun! Hahaha.

I thought it would be a lot of fun, so I decided to go. Ivon came along too, but she just sat out and watched us.

I was a bit anxious and nervous before we got out there. Hahaha. I was thinking, what if I can't handle it and I totally fall on my butt! LOL. But the girl that helped us out gave me a 20 gauge shotgun and said that it's perfect for my size.

So here goes nothing!



We all started out shooting trap instead of skeet. Trap comes out right in front of and skeet comes from the sides, so trap was definitely easier. We each did 25 shots each and after my set of 25, my right shoulder and arms were a little worn out. Hahaha. So I sat out for skeet shooting.

It really wasn't that bad.

Afterwards, we hung out at Brian & Ivon's. We had Filipino food for dinner and halo halo for dessert! YUMM!


When Brian went out to grab the halo halo, me and Ivon went to target to pick-up Settlers of Catan! Hahaha. Yup, I got them into it! Ivon actually heard of it from her co-workers too, so they were definitely up to a new game!

We played two games! Hahaha. And it was a lot of fun!

And then afterwards, since no one had to be up early, we played mahjong!

It was a late night game night! Hahaha. Ended up coming home at 2:30am! Whoopsie!

Settlers of Catan

After the party at Kevin & Nina's we met up at Alex & Gen's.

First we hung out outside and played with Kona, then we went inside and chilled for a bit. The boys started playing Street Fighter, while us girls were sorta trying to figure out how to play Settlers of Catan.

Mark and Jenn brought an expansion pack with them so that all 6 of us could play! YEY!

But first, some tasty flautas from Tacos San Pedro and a super spicy carnitas burrito.


Right after dinner, we all started playing Settlers of Catan!


Jeric isn't big on board games, but he was a sport and played with us. Sort of! Hahaha. He became the saboteur! Hahaha. And the funniest part was that he was trying to not build or upgrade a single thing. So he was buying development cards. And then, ironically, he got one that told him to build 2 roads! HAHAHAHAHAHA. Hilarious!


We played two whole games and it was a whole lot of fun!!

Blazing Hot Celebration

Headed out to Ontario today to celebrate Kevin's 32nd birthday and their new house as well!

Picked up a few cakes for them first.. Portillo's has cakes?

Anyhow, it was quite a long drive and holy cow.. it the temp read 99 degrees!! Yikes! It was definitely way hot! Jenn had the great idea of using ice cold water bottles to cool us down.

There was plenty of good food! Tamales, grilled shrimp, pad thai, pad see ew, kare kare..

The cake was alright.. too much chocolate! Hahaha. The trifle though was super deh-wish-ish! We had thirds!

Moved the table out to the front.. much cooler! Nice and breezy!

Happy birthday Kevin!! And congrats on the house you guys!!

Map In Face!

After a long day..
..my interview at 11
..Time Warner being here from 2 - 5 to fix our internet wires

I was way tired! So tired that I took a nap the moment Time Warner left. Jeric just got off work, so I told him I'd nap while he drove home.

He was hungry when he got home and I was not. So he ate and I continued sleeping!

I pretty much slept all the way til 8:30! Hahaha. I thought Jeric took a nap too, but nope, he didn't. He just watched TV.

The moment I woke up though, he was like.. "Wanna go to Disneyland?" And of course I was like, "YES!"

So I quickly got ready (didn't even bother to try and fix the hot mess my hair was). It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either. Oh well, it will do.

And off to Disneyland we went!

At first, we were thinking of doing the normal bet rides (Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania). Well, at least I was thinking of them. But then, we saw that Disneyland closes at 11 today. Kinda early. Oh well.

It was also a warm night tonight! Crazy! So I was like, "You wouldn't wanna ride Splash Mountain would you?" But since Jeric was in slippers (not Jordans) he was like, "Actually I would. I'm not wearing good clothes." So, that was the first ride!

On the way there, we saw that everyone was waiting for Fantasmic to start. I think it was starting in a few minutes.

And as we made our way to Splash Mountain, we saw on the right side, where Tom Sawyer Island is, the monkeys! They were in costume, with all the set/coordinating people, just waiting to board their rafter that would float them out to the front for the Fantasmic show.

They weren't doing anything really, so we didn't stay long to watch them. In fact, they weren't even in character. Hahaha. We probably stopped for a good two minutes before continuing on our way to Splash Mountain.

As for the ride. Well, we got pretty wet. Hahaha. Good thing I had the very front though. I was able to put my shoes up so the socks don't get soaked. And Jeric was in slippers, so no problems there!

For our pic. I totally tried to do a Charlie's Angel pose and totally failed. Hahaha. I was afraid to stick my arms straight out.. and trying to hold a sideways pose while falling.. soo not easy to do!


As for Jeric, he was too busy making sure his beanie didn't fly off his head! Hahaha.

Once we finished, we headed on out of New Orleans right when Fantasmic finished too! Which meant the fireworks were about to start! Jeric wanted to watch the fireworks and really wanted to see Dumbo too. So we rushed on over to the castle.. found a spot really quick.. and waited for the fireworks.

Total bummer though. There was no Tinkerbell or Dumbo! BOOOO! Wonder what happened. Either way, it wasn't that great of a fireworks show because of that.

After fireworks, we were thinking of what to ride next. I figured, might as well get a kiddy ride in. So we were on our way to Peter Pan. Sadly, they weren't opening that area for another 20 minutes! BOO!

Hmmm, so where to now? "How about Star Tours?" I asked. And Jeric replied, "Nope!" That's because he easily gets motion sickness. Hahaha. So then I suggested Space Mountain and that was a good-to-go!

Of course, we had to pick up a map on the way there! Hahaha. And Jeric rode the ENTIRE ride with the map on his face! Pwahahahaha. I had his beanie on, and for fear of losing it, I rode the whole ride tugging on it and making sure it didn't fly off my head!

Of course, I did release my fingers in time for the camera to catch me pointing at Jeric!

Good stuff!

And that was it, we took the Monorail home and called it a night!

I had dinner, while Jeric knocked the heck out! :)

Shopping Time!

We needed to head to the mall to buy a little something for Jeric's boss cause it's her birthday tomorrow!

While we were there, we decided to go shopping as well! We headed to check out the pet shop first and looked around at all the cute puppies! And right there was good ol' H&M! So that's where we went lookin for some new clothes!

Stuff I found.. and TOTALLY BOUGHT! Hahaha.
