Zoë's First Halloween

Happy first Halloween baby Zoë!

We headed over to Brian and Ivon's to celebrate Halloween with the twins.

Brian, Ivon and the boys were all dressed up as skeletons! And Ivon had a baby skeleton on her belly for the cute bun in the oven! It was adorable!

The boys wanted to play with Zoë, but she just wanted to sleep. Haha!

Afterwards, we headed over to the Jeric's parent's so they can spend some time with Zoë on Halloween too!

May the Force Be With You

Geoff threw a Halloween costume party for his birthday and sine Zoë had an Ewok costume, me and Jeric made ourselves Jedi costumes!

Lunch Date With Gen

Gen was barely starting her maternity leave and mine was ending soon, so we decided we should totally have lunch together!

We wanted to go to our favorite spot, baby Guppies (Guppy Tea House), but they actually closed down! Yeeks. So, we headed over to club Guppies. It was lunch time though, so the crowd was pretty tame and the music wasn't blasting.

We ordered our norm, Kimchee Fried Rice and Popcorn Chicken!

Zoë had a blast too. She kept looking at all the TV monitors. Lol.

After lunch, we walked around Babies R Us for a bit too so that Gen can grab a few things she needed. Like the first outfit she'd take her baby home in. I had Zoë in the carrier and she totally knocked out!

Before we ended our lunch date, we hit up Class 302 to grab some boba! Zoë was eying my drink too. Haha, boba monster in the making.

Her First Tear :(

Zoë had her first tear today. Jeric was holding her and she cried because she was hungry and wanted Mommy. Poor baby.

Baby Yoga

Junior Rumble Meeting

The guys are joining together and creating their own clothing brand, Junior Rumble. Today, they're all meeting over in Glendale and me and Zoë are tagging along.

Ninang Denise and Ninong Ray were also there and they got to play with baby Zoë.

For dinner, they ordered poké "bowls" for everyone.

They actually serve you a lot and it was as delicious as Pokinometry.

Pokinometry... Satisfying Our Cravings!

We're craving some poké today and the closest thing we have is Pokinometry, which isn't really poké, but oh well, close enough to satisfy the cravings.

Back On That Animal Crossing

Now that I've gotten into a good routine with Zoë and seeing how easy it is to do things while she's nursing, I decided to jump back into Animal Crossing.

Lets see how long I keep this going!

Mommy and Daddy Go Out for Sushi

We wanted to go out for sushi today and thought we could totally go out with Zoë.

Zoë fell asleep on the way there and we thought that the noise level would wake her up.

Oddly enough, she didn't wake up or stir one bit!

We ordered a whole ton of sushi and every bite was so delicious!

The Champ is Here

Zoë totally guzzled her milk like a champ today. She finished the entire thing straight! And I seriously think it's the bib. She needed to make sure she was doing the bib right, "The Champ is Here".

Grandma Lyn Giving Zoë a Bottle

Zoë still isn't taking the bottle well from me. She was only introduced to it yesterday, but I thought she'd at least try drinking more by now. While my mom came over, she decided to give it a try.

The funniest part, was when she complained! Hahaha. She made the cutest little complaining sound! She's so freaking adorable! *squish squish*

Baking Cookies From Scratch

Today I'm going to bake some cookies from scratch. Jeric found a recipe and I thought I'd give it a try.

Here's all the ingredients!

It was actually not too hard, although, I did over cream the butter, which made the dough way too slushy. Was really hard to form the dough into little round balls. Still, the cookies came out so delicious. It was mighty late when I finished and totally forgot to snap a photo of the cookies.

I boxed some up for a friend though, as a little Get Well gift.

Introducing the Bottle

It's about time that we start getting Zoë used to drinking from the bottle because, sadly, in a few weeks, I'll be back to work. *cry*

Today, I introduced her to the bottle. It took a very long time to get her to take the bottle, but eventually she took it. Although, that lasted just long enough for me to snap a photo of her.

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Today Zoë's visiting the pumpkin patch for the very first time. It was still pretty hot outside, so we had her in a cute little dress with booty shorts.

Extra Dr Visit

Zoë needed an extra Dr visit today, just to make sure that she was okay because she hasn't been eating well.

She did love staring at herself in the mirror!

Baby girl seems to be healthy and nothing seems to be wrong. Dr. just told us to monitor her and come back if her symptoms worsen.

Zoë's First Set of Shots

Today Zoë has her 2 month well visit. We're actually dreading this visit because it will be the first time she gets shots other than when she was born and received the hepB shot.

Check-in was swift as always.

She now weighs 9lbs 13oz, is 22 inches long and seems to be all around healthy.

And now time for the worst part of the visit. Vaccinations. UGH! She was happy and cooing right before too.

First was the oral meds. I carried her while the nurse squeezed it in her mouth. She tried to spit some out. Hahaha. And totally made the stank face several times.

And then, it was time. :( The nurse had me lay her down on the table with her legs by the nurse. I held her little hands and tried to get her to focus on my face only. I talked to her and tried to comfort her as best as I could. She was pricked the first time and she screamed out in agony. It was so so sad. The second shot was on the same leg, but she didn't seem to cry any louder. I don't think she even cried as much as the first, although it was still pretty bad. And then came the third and final prick. This was done on the opposite leg and hurt the worst out of all three. She cried out in a way I've never heard before. I felt so bad for her and teared up a bit as she cried and cried and cried. The nurse cleaned up quickly and once she left us I fed Zoë immediately. The Dr said that breast feeding will definitely help soothe her. It totally did. She still had sad eyes, but she was no longer crying. Poor thing.

Ahhhh.. and there's still 4 more doses of shots left.

Happy 2 Months Sweetie!

Happy 2 months sweet sweet baby!

You are so freaking adorable! Mommy and Daddy are so happy to have you in our lives. Keep growing and staying sweet little cutie patootie!

Our Little Ewok

We've seen tons and tons of ideas online and have been debating back and forth on what to dress Zoë up as for Halloween. We finally settled on an Ewok! Hahaha. All we needed was a cute bear onesie, a brown shirt and some crafts to create a spear.

Here she is! Our little Ewok! Now, I just need to make her a spear!

Lola Dinky stopped by today and brought a new outfit for Zoë! She got here her very first Halloween Onsie!

Zoë's First Time Out

Zoë visited Great Mama Dory in Los Angeles again.

We were all extremely hungry too, so we decided to go out for some AYCE sushi.

We sure ordered a ton!

And I was so freaking happy that I can eat raw sushi again!!

Mama didn't want to eat, but she came out with us to spend time with baby Zozo.

Baby Houdini Strikes Again

It amazes me how easy it is for Zoë to get out of her swaddle. I've had it extremely tight and still, she escapes! LOL. Luckily, she doesn't really complain when I swaddle her. She just figures out how to get out when she wants to.
