We started moving on Saturday the 14th. Spent our first night there on Sunday! And we've been soo busy. We still have stuff at both our parent's houses. At least all the major furniture is there. And everything but the kitchen is clean.. The kitchen's our staging area.
Anyhow. If you wanna imagine how hectic it's been..
Sunday.. I left my phone at the Jeric's parent's house.. Yesterday.. I left my bag at my parent's house.. This morning?? I woke up late.. So I was totally rushing. Took derp for morning bathroom walk (he didn't go).. Quickly took his harness off.. Saw that I left the blinds open.. So I had to scramble out of my shoes.. (We have the "no shoes past kitchen" rule) I also had to hobble over piles of boxes since we still don't have our doggy gate (we're using boxes that are waist high.. Juno can jump) I make it over.. With much effort and totally without any grace. I lock up.. And I'm ready to head out. But I quickly wash strawberries (forgot to make bfast).. Finally all ready to go.. Now.. Where are my damn keys 😂😠I just opened the door after taking derp for a walk! I frantically look for like 10 min.. And there they were.. On top of derp's harness. Doh!
I make it to work.. 11 min late! Oh.. And I forgot a jacket.. And my pants have a stain. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ today is not my day.
Anyhow.. Back to out new place. We love it! Jeric just mounted both our TV's. Things are starting to come together.. Just gotta get through unpacking out oodles of boxes.
Ohh. And we can't have satellite.. Our balcony is facing west.. Turns out all dishes point south. And to the south is a wall. And a building. Ugh. No free satellite for us.
Thankfully our doggy gate arrives today. So does our internet modem.
The only real problem? Guest parking. There not much. Bummer.
