Character Hunting

Yey for the three day weekend!  Unfortunately we were blocked out of Disney yesterday.  At least today, we're allowed!  

All I really wanted to do was look for characters.  So we went early afternoon.. Which is way early for us.  When we got there I finally got my Minnie Mouse pic!  Been wanting a new one ever since we bought my Minnie ears and what better way to capture it than with my Polaroid!

Minnie couldn't wait to see it either!  She took the photo between her gloves and kept blowing on it.  Hahaha

Once the pic developed we both took a look!

Afterwards we headed to fantasy faire to see who we could spot.  The description only listed Cinderella.  But lucky us!  We got Jasmine and Snow White as well!

Jasmine asked if Jeric was going to take me on a magic carpet ride.. Cinderella asked if Jeric was my Prince Charming and totally made Jeric pose funny.. Hahaha.. And Snow White just asked how are day was.

Afterwards I wanted to hit up toon town and fantasy land to see if we can spot more characters.  And on our way there we passed by big thunder ranch and totally spotted Woody and Jessie.  We've had pics with them at Disney World.. But thought we'd take one anyways.

But was we made our way to the end of the line we spotted Thumper, whom we've never seen before!  So we totally ditched Woody and Jessie!

When we got to Thumper Jeric pointed at his feet and started thumping!  And then Thumper laughed and started thumping too!   Lol

After all that character hunting.. We were pooped!  And hot and sweaty!  Lol

Right when we finished we were able to meet up with Vince and Reyna before they headed back to SF!  Doh!  Forgot to take a pic!

And then we headed home and had a relaxing rest of the day!

Taste of Anaheim 2014

Mom Samoza gave is some tix for Taste of Anaheim 365 since she isn't able to make it.

These are some of the restaurants..

McCormick and Schmick's, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Mother's Market, House of Blues, Lucky Strike, Rainforest Cafe, Tortilla Jo's, The Catch, Slater's 50/50, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, Jazz Kitchen, and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Those were at least the main one's we knew of.

We got there and immediately got our grub on!

Bubba Gump's potato balls - these were alright. Nothing special


Toby Keith's pork slider - also just okay.


Tilted Kilt's pork slider - these were a bit more flavorful than the last, but still sub par


McCormick & Schmick's bacon wrapped shrimp - these were one of Jeric's fav!


Can't have an event without a free grocery bag! YELP!

Disneyland Resort's poke salad - I didn't try it, but Jeric said it was pretty good


ESPN Zone's caramel carrot cake - very delicious but super rich


ESPN Zone's BBQ pork sliders - soo many freaking sliders..


Disneyland Resort's filet mignon pita dish - the meat was tough for filet mignon


Jazz Kitchen's gumbo - this was finger lickin good


Catal's gazpacho shooters & poached belize shrimp


Blake's Place's BBQ pork slider - yes.. another one of these guys


House of Blues' pork slider - there seems to be a theme here..


Disneyland - Tangaroa Terrace's mango passion fruit parfait - this was my absolute fav!


Rubios' shrimp taco - it was meh.. presentation definitely blah.. the girl actually asked me if I wanted a better looking one. Hahaha. I rejected her offer.. I didn't want to wait for another


American Tavern's burger - I was too full by this time.. I don't remember even eating this


Manhattan's seafood mac & cheese and barron of beef.. the mac & cheese was my fav dish


Rita's italian ice - these were ugh. nothing like Joe's Italian Ice at all


Back downstairs.. they had a back area we didn't check out yet. We were way too full though. That's where they had Slater's 50/50.. but that line was waaay too long

We settled for this burger.. but I forget where from and the sweet potato thing was nasty!


There you have it.. all the food we tried with quick little reviews.

Definitely glad it was free.. we wouldn't pay $40 each for this.
