Oh Hello Friend Sale

Woke up mighty early for a Saturday and headed out to dtFullerton with Gen and Jenn for the OHF sale!  Gotta say, it was a bit disappointing.  I expected more out of the sale.  Oh well.. Came out with a few cute items.. Washi tape.. Stamps.. 1 pen.. Not too shabby.

The best part of the day.. Hanging out with some of the girls and grabbing bfast after.  We ate at The Original Pancake House.  

The wait was really long though, so by the time we finished.. It was 11, which meant the OHF store was open!  Of course we had to stop by.  Which was where I found th cute blue top.  Which is also the only item I bought today that Jeric believes worth spending dough on.. The rest he considers "unnecesary gastos!"  Lol.  Least he likes the shirt!

and now.. Back to sleep!

New Job!

Yup!  Another new job..  

Not that I didn't love my other job at CIMA Confections.. But by accident I saw that my paycheck was monthly and waaaay below what I'm worth.  I decided to wait until I actually got my next paycheck though, just to verify that it indeed is very low.  

Meanwhile.. I get a call from Care Ambulance, which is where my Mom-In-Law works.  They had a temp position for three months..which can possibly turn into perm. 

I also then found out that my paycheck was indeed below my pay grade.  So I talked to my boss about it.  He asked me to give him to the end of the week.  But Care Ambulance needed me to start on Wednesday.  So I had a dilemma.  And had to weigh it all out.  Me and Jeric decided Care Ambulance would be a better bet.  Larger company, more benefits, more chance to move up.  When I told my boss, he was indeed upset.  But I gotta do what's best for us.

And so here I am starting a new journey!

A New Book to Read

I actually finished The Art of Racing in the Rain several days ago.  Was a really great book.  It tugged at the heart and made me tear a few times.  Also made me pretty angry!  Gotta say though the ending was a bit anticlimactic.  Still, I highly recommend!

Anyhow, since I finished that book I thought I'd start the Divergent series.  Especially since the movie's coming out and I don't want to see spoilers off the trailers.  I'm probably a little more than half way through with the book and I can not put it down!  Well.. except when I play South Park.  Lol.  Anyhow.  It's a three book series, so I'll have my fill on this one.

South Park the Stick of Truth

Jeric got me a new game for the pc!  South Park The Stick of Truth.  So far I am in love with it!  It cracks me up and the story line is awesome.  That's me, I'm the fourth character.

I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say that if you like South Park you MUST play this game!

Btw.. I clocked 4 hours of game play already!  Lol.  I fear of finishing the game too fast.
